Short answer. Yes. And the same applies to his economic team who feed Obama information, he has no direct knowledge about the topic. Everything he has done is an utter failure.

 

No President has ever had the economic intelligence to enact feasible policy devoid of a brain trust. However, Obama's brain trust is out of touch and misinformed.

Unfortunately, all economists nowadays are devoid of positive economic analysis. Too often they fall under the spell of providing normative economic advice instead of merely displaying the math and making predictions based upon it.

I can't find any post that claims Owebama had poor academic records, and if anyone did they would be terribly disingenuous. His academic records have been sealed....the only president in history to do so. I suggest there is a reason for that.

There are millions of people with degrees from prestigious institutions who are functional idiots. Gerry Ford had a degree and years and years of experience before he staunchly claimed in a debate with Jimmy Carter that "There is no Soviet Domination in Eastern Europe."

And Owebama has shown a distinct capacity to spew without thinking, the best recent example was the idea to move Israel's borders back to those of 1967....talk about lead zepplins. And wasn't it he who said they had traveled to all "57 or 58" states? That's not just a slip of the tongue.

Compare Owebama's off-the-cuff remarks to his teleprompter addresses....almost two different people. All that shows is that he's extremely good at reading.

And finally, I find it amusing that Owebama's sheeple defend his genius because he went to Harvard, while those very same people consider George Bush an idiot, ignoring the fact he went to Yale.

If Yale can produce an idiot, so can Harvard. And, in this case it has.

I haven't even read what comment he made but, the answer to the thread title is..... Yes he is that stupid and even more so than his comment illustrates.

There is no point in listening to BO speak anymore. Nothing he says is based in fact nor grounded in reality. He is a socialist who thinks that magical elves riding unicorns appear and make things a certain way because he decrees it done.

Alright, then let's discuss economics. Who wants to have a discussion on the macro-economic analysis of a carbon emissions tax in the context of externalities? Who wants to discuss the opportunity costs of EPA regulations? If you want to discuss economic issues, you must be well-versed, or at the least proficient in macro-economics. I am not well-versed or proficient in economics, so I will sit this one out.
