Actually drinking in moderation can be healthy and I know many people who have lived long lives who drank. Plus, wine is a part of some religious rites and thus the prohibition would be a violation of that right.

Didn't you prohibition types learn your lesson already?

I'm sure some state's do allow the killing of goats. You'd have to check, but I do believe that there are some animals that are still allowed to be sacrificed for religious rites.

Keep your hands off my cigars and bourbon. One of the
Most satisfying things in life for me is when I visit home I sit out on the back porch with my father smoking a cigar and drinking a glass of bourbon while we talk.

One of my fondest memories was coming home from Iraq (my first time) and sitting with my dad and godfather, and drink some Irish whiskey I bought while flying through Ireland. We sat next to a fire and talked; I don't know what we talked about, but it was a fun time.

Yes moments like these are something to cherish forever and never take for granted. We talk about everything politics, religion
History, and any problems we may have. Moments like these were one of the major things that shaped me into the man I am today.

Most smokers are from a lower social/economic/educational background. That means most smokers are Democrats. Tax the fuct out of them. No mercy for those addicts.

just a suggestion my friends. the raising of tax on such products would bring a lot of revenue to the country. anyway, it had been sometime now since origonally posting this thread and i realize how radical my reform was, my apologies

I suspect you are very young, and want to right the wrongs of the world. Prohibition of things people want obviously doesn't work. Alchol and tobacco are taxed heavily now, bu there is a point of taxation where the resulting behavior is similar to that which occurs with prohibition, illegal and extremly harmful behavior.

47,000 Mexicans have been murdered in the past few years primarily because the prohibition of recreational drugs in the US kakes their trad so very profitable.

Let people injest what they want, as long as they take responsibility for the results.
