      Not yet katie, I do have Plato's Laws and The Republic (I love second hand bookshops, greatest books at knockdown prices). I was referred to the Ring of Gyges by a contact who told me it would be useful in my work right now. Being involved in education (I'm involved in learning a development in my agency) I'm more familiar with Plato's "Cave" parable. But I intend to use Gyges in some teaching I have planned.

      No worries I didn't know if being a copper was an issue. And yep I'm just an ordinary copper. There are those that specialise and I've been there but now it's just the usual job for me.

      Why would I want to unfriend you, and what is an 'ordinary' cop? Aren't there special cops who do homocides and cops who do drugs and cops who do domestics and cops that do traffic etc...
