Not sure what friend gets you here, but I love reading your stuff. I tend to argue too much. Sitting back and watching the show is pretty cool.

I see it as a lack of understanding. They get settled into a point of view and in many cases being linked to a belief in god they are not likely to wavier.
If god said it is truth and unchanging. Many people fight out of fear of change. The if it worked for mom and dad it works for me. I never held to that. I respect peoples beliefs.
I have always tried to see all sides of an issue that makes us better able to make the best choices.

My partner doesn't care what I do she just wants me to stay in the revolution to take America back before it's to late. I have been protesting since the late 60's. I was part of the GLF the first gay rights org. I worked with SDS the weather faction in Chicago I was in the civil rights movement and helped the Black Panthers. I knew all of the original Chicago 8. I was at the first Pride Parade. The event was called Remember Stonewall. My life has been one fight after another.

Congrats on your 14 I hope you are as happy as I have been.

I am certain you will be very good at anything you do in the field. For me, I have always keep my classes unique. I will go with the students to different places and do the classes there. I did 3 weeks of classes in Grant park when I was talking about the 68 Democratic convention. Not only did we discuss the topic but the geography of the protest as well. My students are very highly skilled. I have an exam that they must pass before entry. It is a great class. I just love it. My health is none to good so it has limited my creativity.

Just a fan of Dante. I am a professor in sociology. I teach about the radical movements of the 50's 60's and 70's. I was there I might just as well do something with it.

Yes I like all three of the books. Inferno is the best known so I use the quote's from that one. I have a few of the Dali litographs from all three series as well. I see you are taking classes. What subjects?

You sounded fine and you had three against one. It was a great job. You hung in there as well. When I can rep you I will.

LOL, no biggie, they're just suburbanites who won't say what they really mean in public so they bring it out online.

Your signature: "If Obama loses, our children will grow up thinking of equal opportunity as a myth. His defeat would say that when handed a perfect opportunity to put the worst part of our history behind us, we chose not to. In this event, the world's judgment will be severe and inescapable: The United States had its day but, in the end, couldn't put its own self-interest ahead of its crazy irrationality over race."

Seems to imply that the only reason why Obama would lose would be because of racism or that the only perceived reason for why Obama would lose would be racism. Do you not see something wrong with that implication?
