Thanks for the rep. I am still around much of the time. I just don't post as often anymore because those windmills never seem to fall, lol. Your dogs are absolutely beautiful. I have a 2 year old sheperd/husky mix.

Yeah that's true... Somewhere out there is a community of users more interested in high quality debate than protecting the constitutional right to troll...

Yeah I'm waiting to hear back from law schools, so I might not have time for this place either in a few months.

I have thought about starting a forum. My idea was to set up a structured debate forum. Where like you need to structure your argument with an impact to your argument and a causal connection between the other person's position and that impact and whatnot. Kind of based on how debate teams do it. Force people to submit sources. That kind of thing. Then I decided it would be too annoying for users so nobody would do it... ;)

Yeah I hear you for sure... I was feeling the same way a few weeks ago and I resolved to quit posting so much. I took about 5 days off and came back less frustrated... But yeah, in some ways it's causing me more damage than good... I'm getting entrenched and my fuse is shortening...

I'd hope to find out what version of social democrat you are... possibly a hybrid like me? I see you love canine kids as I do.

You lean as far right as far as you are "right" in sense of being correct with your views. And that is not very correct in your case. :)

I am sure a position will open up somewhere. You would be a great teacher. (Given that you do not use your o-so wrong political views to indoctrinate the little malleable minions. :) )

Grad school will come around for you I'm sure.

The financial conference is a learning event where several high level financial officials have several round tables and classes regarding different issues. It should be fun.

LOL - I think we have people like that here too ... I have begun to think that for some reason, they are just more likely to have time and access to a computer in the US. Most of the ones I know here are computer illiterate!

and of course -with your population it does appear there are a lot of them ... but proportionately its no different from anywhere else.:) I hope.

it is such an education for me here ... but I also find it a little disturbing at times ... because I don't think it is at all healthy.

I mean the paranoia displayed is not healthy!

The essence of any utopianism is: Conjure an ideal that makes an impossible demand on reality, then announce that, until the demand is met in full, your ideal can't be fairly evaluated. Attribute any incidental successes to the halfway meeting of the demand, any failure to the halfway still to go.
