Well, it was a little two fold. I got my basic principals from my upbringing, surrounded by working class people who worked hard but earned little and were involved in the labour movement. Most of my opening to theory came from Uni yes.

I am yet unclear what a Social Democracy is supposed to mean; but let me make something painfully clear, my view is that anything that expands the role of Government and places limits on my Liberty is unacceptable.

I am amused when people are so willing to put their faith in a Socialized Government yet wallow in the irony that they believe it only works if the politicians ideology is in lock step with their own.

I rarely post on this forum anymore, and what I do post is usually silly stuff. The reason for this is just that there are so many pig ignorant people on the forum that are not really interested in actually debating but in just repeating a right wing rethoric. Plus the delusion of the 'Liberals' that they are somehow left wing and any better than those they despise being the Conservatives make my frustrations no less.

All in all great to see another red on the forum. I see you're interested in Sociology, I just graduated in Sociology a few weeks ago :D.

I'm an independent so I don't really have a political party. Well because there are so many grammar freaks and I argue on here a lot but isn't that the whole point lol. I'm also not on here daily.

yeah this is a nice site to debate on. I don't seem to get along with people here though.
