"You must spread some reputation before giving it to janpor again"

Every day I come onto this forum and see America attacked. I understand the reasonable attacks, the things America deserves to be criticized for. The problem I have is the complete and utter irrationality, conspiracy theories, and complete and utter lack of rational critical thinking by most non-American posters on PF towards America.

I can't defend my country against irrational conspiracy theories, so all I can do is get angry and attack Europe in the same, irrational way that I see my nation attacked as a means to striking back.

I wasn't anti-European until this forum convinced me that Euros honestly truly hate America in general and base those beliefs off of primarily stupid myths like Bush planned 9/11 to have have an excuse to go to war.

Americans don't go to war over petty reasons like "imperalism" or "oil".. we went to war to get justice, something no other country in world was interested in achieving on our behalf.

Clinton throughout the 90's did it the Euro way. With diplomatic initiatives and trying to appease radical islam, it led to 9/11. We're tired of talk and diplomatic wrangling that eats up years and years and does nothing.

If radical islamists in the ME can't listen to diplomatic niceties, then it's obvious the only thing they understand and respect is raw, naked military force.

      Hey janpor.

I just saw you gave me a "reputation point".

I'm new around here, so I don't really know what this means but it seems that you liked one of my posts.

Anyways, I wanted to express my gratitude.

Thank you. ( And nice avatar btw ;)

Well Vienna is on my list because I'm learned in classical music, 16+ years now. I have so many places to choose from it's ridiculous...I'm a big Goethe fan, so I'd want to see the German countryside. I'm also a big fan of 60's Turkish music and very interested in Islam, so I'd love to see Istanbul. Then I'm a big fan of the French New Wave (Godard et al.), so Paris is within my sights. And possibly Ukraine - every single girl I've met that's from Ukraine or Ukrainian has been no less than a goddess, so why not?

And yes I've heard of Ryanair, I'll take advantage of it if I need to travel far (> Trieste - Vienna)

haha yea i know. however i'm not in italy to vacation per se, i'm here studying abroad at the abdus salam ictp. most of the time i've been on these forums has been in between work there (a habit i'm trying to stop) and late night at my apartment in town. you probably saw more of me than usual over the weekend because it was pouring buckets outside. i'm hoping to travel europe, though. any suggestions? i have my eye set on vienna.

You are not curious at all. I am off mixed decent. My mother is British, and my father is an Afrikaner. My family name is of French Huguenot heritage, but obviously that intermixed a lot.

      jannpor,

I hadn't realized just how big a deal Eurovision is. Wow! That was a great video. I think you should post it in the general site somewhere so everyone can see it. I wish the would televise it here in The States.

Sois jeune Tais toi. You picked a pretty good avatar, janpor because it seems to describe your attitude lately. While I enjoy your posts you do seem to have an us against them attitude when it comes to other posters, often suggesting they go back to school as if their schooling wasn't quite as good as yours because it happened a while back.

Sois jeune. Tais toi is not an attitude found at Political Forum. A person's age doesn't matter. It is the context of his/er posts that matters. There is no need for confrontation based ib age,

You and I are different in many ways, age, political philosophy, ethnicity, sexual orientation..., yet I like you and enjoy your posts. Be young. Talk up.
