Del moved her head to the right....and there has been eye movement on the right side, even though she's still not opened her right eye.
small progress, but it's being seen as progress...

11am the 4th. i am at the condo. Del has been moving her fingers and tearing from the right eye. there is nothing else but this is a good sign. she is otherwise non responsive buy the doctors at this point are very hopeful.

Katie just heard from Del's mom.
Del has wiggled her fingers and a tear ran down her cheek.
Katie has a cab waiting and is headed back to the hospital.

First movement since yesterday morning

She's 57.

She'd had um...she'd gotten both her prosthetics finally for her legs and was doing well with those.
Shep Dawg sent me a PM this morning---she had another heart attack yesterday and possibly a stroke also.
She's in a coma and her family has started gathering in Chicago.
Katiegrrl is there too.
The docs aren't sure if she's gonna make it.

Shep said he waited until today to tell me on account of my birthday.
Shep and Katie both have mine and Martha's cell #'s....there's not much I can do or say----I've in shock and have been crying/praying all day.

We had our words, but she's still----she's still Del (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)!

Oh holy Toledo!
I was on the road all. day. LONG!
Being a passenger and then a driver for near about total of 9 + hours long trying to get Mr Martha and two Boy Scouts to camp so's Martha could have the truck for the week and so's amber and I could avail ourselves of it too.
(All the above made a wee bit more complicated by the fact that I hadn't um---slept at all last night. Um...a tiny little factoid that amber thought a bit important and well---is kicking my bo-hiney at the moment.)
I'm just here for a minute..for real.
amber and I've gotta be up pretty dang early tomorrow to head for her appointment and thar ain't no way I can do another round the clock. :no:

Oh I am tickled beyond belief!
She decided all on her own and asked my sister (not her mom, she's my brother's daughter) to facilitate initial contact and voila!
She said "I'm an adult, I wanna get to know my aunt tresha and so I'm gonna!" way, way, way WAY cool.
I'd just given up on ever hearing from that part of the family again.
Creator was all kinds of busy last week blessing me with awesome news!
