Thanks for the rep - also that article is very interesting. i had one several years ago by an Afghani feminist written BEFORE the 2001 invasion - she was critical of western feminism (and the west in general) suddenly getting ants in their pants about Afghan women's rights as if suddenly - with 9/11 they became an issue. In many ways, the US support for the war against the soviets had been instrumental in pushing back women's rights to worse than they had been for decades.

Sure you wouldn't be taking it personally - I just think in view of the usual line about right of return to Israel it will be interesting to explore this. Do the zionists think others (who are not Palestinians) should be entitled to act as they do ?
