Thank you. I have a lot of fun here as well as with my toys (cars and other things).
I see we're almost the same age which is interesting. The surroundings (banana trees) in your profile picture remind me of growing up in the San Fernando Valley.

well , your man & I know a great pizza when we see one , yep , but to tell the truth , I only get one of those onct a year , on my B-Day , and I like mine British style , with an egg sunny side up :sunnysideup:, cracked in the middle of the pizza and baked along with the pizza , , ,:hungry:

the other 351 days I watch my cholosterol & eat rocks & sprouts & but , I have been known to bake cornbread & mash potatoes & peas & Meatloaf & corn & side meat green beans , , , lol ,

whew Sadine , I've carried pizzas all day , whew , today is "A Hillbilly will be nice to you today " day , , , Feb 7 , , full moon , so I've spent all day delivering pizzas to my friends .

Now , myself , I dearly love a pizza-hut 3XXX deep-dish meat lovers , extra cheese & olives with extra bacon & sausage , , , and 3X the onions & green peppers & shrooms ....

I've been doing this for a while. You can't let them get to you. That's one of the first rules of engaging in internet "discussions", if you let them get under your skin then they win. Plain and simple.

I just generally laugh at the insanity. I know that people let their more extremists views run wild on the internet so, for me at least as a lover of the human psyche and condition, it's very informative to see how people express themselves while hiding behind the anonymity provided by the internet.

My purpose in trying to answer most posts here, is to leave a record of reasonable responses behind. I'm a believer that someone at some time in the future WILL eventually see these conversations archived (somewhere). I want to leave something for people to think about... besides what those 2 or 3 anti-gay posters submit to the forum. I honestly think that MOST anti-homosexual people KNOW they aren't arguing reasonably, but for whatever reason(s) they cannot accept homosexuality or people who are homosexual. I can never help them with that directly, but I'm pretty certain that I can affect part of the world AROUND them. :) I do that not only for myself, but for all the people who are hurt or beaten by the irrational animus, fear and hatred too often perpetrated against them in this world. :(

Thanks for the compliment, it was taken off my computer as you see, the kitchen was a mess. My cleaning lady quit (actually she divorced me in 2006). How does one compliment anothers post, I have had it done to me (by you) and have seen many worthy posts I wanted to comment on, especially yours.

Nice pic, gorgeous! Looks like a wolf is sneaking up behind you, I hope you escaped safely. This is a nice forum, but it seems the debates are the same, they use the same name calling and ape the same FOX talking points, doubt some of these guys have had a single independent thought since they were in kindergarten.

Hey Sadania! I'm way excited to finally meet a fellow Belgian on the forum, although you probably don't consider yourself as Belgian anymore -- but I do! :mrgreen:

Anyways, I've got loads of questions!

First off, why do you feel unfortunate to live in South Carolina?! After all, the weather is nice there -- isn't it?
Although very personal, I wondered if you wanted to share with me how your indentity is constructed? Do you speak French with your children? If not, regret not doing so? How did you end up in the States? Probably end up meeting the man of your dreams or something. Do you cook Belgian? I'll stop there, for now.

Also, forgive me my bluntness but (1) Belgian-Americans are very exotic and (2) you look like two drops of water as my stephmother!
