Why does the US keep bombing nations.

An example of leftist thinking and how it is truly perverted and lost form reality. The yanks are not run by a dictatorship in any sense unless you are like me and consider the Republic to be a true disaster as a form of government. The Yanks turned away a chance at prestige and power after the second World War. They could have invaded the Eastern bloc but they choose to sit by and let the Soviets control Eastern Europe and Central Asia for another three plus decades.

 

You've presented ZERO evidence that the U.S. killed 2 million civilians in southeast Asia.

On a larger issue, the U.S. was fighting to prevent the spread of a communist regimes.

Communism which killed more than 100 million people in the 20th century (see the book "The Black Book of Communism").

Any reasonable level of violence to halt communism was morally justified.

Dropping a half dozen laser or GPS guided bombs is not carpet bombing.

Carpet bombing is where you lay a CARPET of bombs to cover the entire target area. It is not just dropping a bomb on a particular target. It is not precision bombing.

 

Cannot stop laughing at your suggestion that the US could have invaded and occupied a serious size nation... 4000 miles from US soil.

I have agreed that the US bombing of Serbia was different from the genocide of Southeast Asians.

However... Carpet bombing or Cluster bombing...I guarantee that you would have S yourself if you had been in Belgrade or particularly Baghdad during Operation Bomb and Hide.

The U.S. never dropped cluster bombs on Belgrade either.

The only large scale U.S. cluster bomb attack was when a B-52 caught a Serbian battalion on a road march in the hill country and reportedly killed as many as 800 Serbian soldiers in a single attack.

Perhaps out of all your diatribe you should ask yourself why, in the first place, does the US citizen need protection?

 

Not ONE Serbian soldier was killed in the US bombing. Those 800 would have been serbian civilians.

The US always bombs civilians rather than fight soldiers. It has done this throughout its history. This is because the US cannot take casualties as the people at home start crying. This is also why the world laughs at the US trillion dollar military spending... as it cannot invade any serious sized nation.

It is called the ONE ARMED SUPERPOWER....cannot take casualties.

 

Of course it needs protection!

There are literally hundreds of nations with the logistics to get an army together and sail the 7 seas over to the US and then invade and occupy from thousands of miles away!

I love it.

It is logistically impossible to invade the US.. just as it is logistically impossible for the US .. which spends more than the other 200 countries in the world combined... to invade and occupy a serious sized nation thousands of miles away.

and yet americans are fed constant fear and hatred of imaginary threats to keep them under control and to steal literally TRILLIONS of dollars from them.

I worked in Serbia during and after the bombing.

There were several massive civilian massacres by US cowardly bombers... but the Serb soldiers were all bunkered up and ready for the attack.

They had decoys all over the place.

They had been preparing for this bombing for years.

I would love to have seen the US try to invade Serbia... but they would never have dared facing a real army and real fighters... they never do.

It is accepted even in US sources.. that the US bombing took out logistics but did not target or kill any Serb soldiers.

Serbs are real fighters and are very well equipped and experienced military. There is zero chance the US would have risked invading as it would have meant many thousands of deaths and the US public cannot take casualties.

Countries know this and so laugh at them.

 

And you know so much about military tactics do you? Explain to me how a state that lost over 26 million people and a sizable portion of its economic output could defend itself against a state that was barely touched during the war?
