Ya know, dismissing me out of hand doesn't make me wrong.

Why is Ron Paul running for President of a Government he imputes the worst motives too?

If our Government is so bad that it compares with Egypt, Iran, or Syria..then why are you "patriots" still trying to even be a part of the process?

well, to be honest, even though Ron Paul lacks the hair, skin color, muscle tone and strength of voice to send out that alpha-dog whistle that says "I am your leader", he is still, beyond all that, incredibly overrated as a political thinker.

get this straight. Ron Paul doesn't want the Federal Gov to explicitly legalize drugs (or any other social agenda items), he simply wants them to acknowledge that they have no authority or dominion over the states to pass such laws or enforce them, one way or the other.

If Ron Paul got his way, Alabama could enforce the death penalty for possession of 1 ounce of marijuana, and Ron Paul would surely say "that's the state's right to make that decision, the federal government has no say in the matter."

That's what irks me about him, he's kind of like this phony libertarian guy, that in reality wants to roll the US back to a confederacy of states, so that the "red" states can get all crazy with their extremely conservative, theocratic, racist etc agendas.

That's the mind trick. That's why confused liberals and libertarians are like "wow, Ron Paul makes sense" and then also the REAL hardcore conservatives are like "yeah, ****in' A right Ron Paul"

You just skewed with some things to make Paul look bad.

Provide evidence instead of your blibber blabber next time. Paul believes in state's rights, but he doesn't believe in a controlling state like you suggest. It's ridiculous to make such a claim.

And Paul isn't running for Governor... If he was, he would be running on most of the same things: Limited government, less spending, lower taxes, and a balanced budget. He's running for a federal government office, which is why he's addressing everything at a federal issue.

Yeah, you point out the fallacy that Ron Paul disproves. Like he says: if you legalized drugs tomorrow why does everyone act like everyone would do it? Like the debate question about states banning contraception (i dont know if you saw it but it was a question for romney and he answered it well). He said it was idiotic to talk about it because it was too extreme to happen. I live in the most conservative county in one of the most conservative states, and we wouldn't do anything CLOSE to what you are suggesting. Don't be foolish. You have to be reasonable and think THROUGH things to see Ron Paul's points. The Civil War was not fought over slavery. Not by a long shot. It was fought over state's rights mostly. Why does our federal government now attack and blatantly ignore the 10th amendment? Because The Union won, and they wanted to rub it in. Why else do you think we started pledging our allegiance to the flag every morning in school?

    EXACTLY.

See, you are getting to the exact core of what Ron Paul is about, and what he stands for, and I wish to **** that some of the airhead or internet social libertarians and neo-liberals or whatever would pay attention to it.

The Ron Paul plan to scale back federal intrusion into things like abortion and illegal drugs isn't designed to unleash wild freedom and libertarianism upon the world--on the contrary, Ron Paul is far more concerned about the federal governments ability to limit the governing and enforcing power of the individual states.

He knowingly throws out some sexy sound bytes about "why is there a war on drugs?" or "why does the federal government get involved in abortion regulation at all?" which sound good to libertarians, but you should never forget that Ron Paul is as staunchly conservative as the day is long.

So, Ron Paul is actually neither for or against sex-laws or drug-laws, he is just against FEDERAL sex laws and drug laws. Once he got his way, it would be up to the states what to do. And as we've already seen, he is extremely conservative.

One can easily see that the Ron Paul plan would pave the way for states to back out of Roe v Wade, civil rights laws, and all manner of federal oversight. It would have great appeal for say, xenophobic folks of a singular race and religion that wanted to set up their little hamlet or state exactly as they wanted it to be--without anything pesky like medical insurance, social security, welfare or social safety net, federal taxes, federal labor laws, drug laws, civil rights laws, federal education laws, etc etc etc.

You can imagine that Ron Paul envisions a hippie utopia if you like, but it's fairly obvious that he is a very pious and conservative Texas Republican, actually much farther to the right than either Gingrich or Santorum, so you can guess the outcome really. It surprises me that more people don't see this actually.

This is what I don't get either.

People try to pretend that if the Federal Government didn't involve itself in prohibition of drugs, that States or individual counties won't. There are still dry counties in America.

I honestly could never see my County legalizing Marijuana and especially not cocaine and heroin!

He's effective, and you're going to find that out in the very near future. His supporters are taking over the republican party and are far more active than neocons and mainliners. He owns the younger voters, the internet, and the active/visible support in every state. His total percentage of votes has doubled in every state since 2008, even with the games the GOP has played denying districts votes, losing votes from districts, and the corporatist media attacking him.

It's not about a man, it's about a movement and restoring constitutional principles and liberty. There's no stopping that.

"What will Ron Paul's audit do that the regular Government audit doesn't?"

WTF are you talking about, "jew"?

Before Dr. (Are you a doctor?) Paul began beating the drum, the Criminal Reserve WAS NEVER AUDITED. THAT WAS THE PROBLEM!

And why not? Because they insisted that they were a private company, and they didn't have to open their books for our inspection. YET ...all their publicity, propaganda, and literature had them listed as a government agency.

In a transparent society - a free society - we the people, through our representatives, have the right to inspect a government agency's books. If you don't agree, you need to move to some judeo-communist country - a closed society - where the public doesn't have the right to know what the government's up to.

AND WHY DIDN'T THE CRIMINAL RESERVE WANT TO BE AUDITED? The "jews" who run it didn't want the American people to know how treasonous and bottomlessly corrupt they are. They didn't want people to realize that all the "jewish" stereotypes are actually valid. It's a matter of record that the vast majority of governors and board members of the Criminal Reserve have always been "jews". Coincidence? The very same group who've said for centuries they'd do America in? Uh huh. Yeah, coincidence.

THE VERY FIRST AUDIT (http://www.sanders.senate.gov/newsr...news/?id=9e2a4ea8-6e73-4be2-a753-62060dcbb3c3) indicated the Criminal Reserve had given away 16 TRILLION OF OUR AMERICAN TAX DOLLARS TO "JEWISH" CRONY ORGANIZATIONS THROUGHOUT THE WORLD! $16 TRILLION WHEN AMERICA'S IN A DEPRESSION AND THAT MONEY IS BADLY NEEDED TO BAIL OUT THE BACKBONE OF AMERICA - MIDDLE CLASS - NOT THE 1%!

In addition, it was mostly "jewish" executives who gave themselves multi-million dollar bailouts and golden parachutes from the $700 billion bailout THE AMERICAN TAXPAYER SO GULLIBLY SUPPLIED. THEIR REWARD FOR RUNNING AN INSOLVENT COMPANY! (This is not "antisemitism", it's fact.)

The capitalism that the "jews" spokeswomen - Puss Windbag, Blowreilly, Sean Handjob, and Mike Wienee - are always tauting generally rewards success, but apparently - in the "jews" case - it rewards failure too.

AMERICA, WORLD, DO YOU NOW SEE WHY THE CRIMINAL RESERVE HAS FOUGHT AN AUDIT TOOTH AND CLAW?

We know what they've done so now all the perps involved need to be indicted for High Treason and fraud, and when found guilty, hanged by their necks until dead.

BUT ... this is precisely why they had their buttboys in the (*)(*)(*)(*)e-house and "Congress" ram through The Detainee Security Act. Under the guise of fighting "terrorism" they can assassinate or put away anybody - like me, or Ron Paul - who wants them brought to justice. Yes, that's how f--ked up America actually is.

And the American useful idiot (Which "jew" who founded communism coined this phrase?) played a huge role in making it this way.

Oh, so you're one of those people that thinks our financial situation is just some big Jewish conspiracy, huh? Well, then, you're a (*)(*)(*)(*)ing moron. But I guess that's why conspiracy theories like that exist, don't they? To simplify very complex issues to make them easy to follow and understand for stupid people like you. If there's been some secret meetings at my synagogue to take over the world, I haven't been invited.

So... you think the federal government has to tell people not to be racist? What is that like .000001% of the population that would do that? YOU REALLY THINK if we returned to the states their rightful power that we would have states reinstating slavery. God (*)(*)(*)(*) you are some kind of fool. Maybe we DO need the government to tell us how much of an idiot you are.

And our wonderful of the "jews", by the "jews", and for the "jews" government is VOLUNTEERING US TO BAILOUT EUROPE! How many billions in interest will the "jewish" bankers - both OWS and Ron Paul's Genuine Original Tea Party know they're the bulk of the world's problems - make from this venture? Aren't you excited?

He said Ron Paul was clearly attacking jews by saying end the fed and stuff. I was pointing out it was extremely unlikely that every single person Ron Paul would get rid of would be jewish. and if that WAS by some ODD coincidence the case, then so be it.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Federal_Reserve_System#Accountability

    "Accountability

The Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, the Federal Reserve banks, and the individual member banks undergo regular audits by the GAO and an outside auditor."

How closed does a mind have to be to believe that the Fed has operated since 1913 without anyone ever checking on them at all?

In each term of Paul's many elections he introduced a bill to do a more in depth audit of the Fed. It has never become law.

Should the Fed be subjected to a more through regular audit? YES, they should. But that is a far cry from the inane claim that they have never been audited.

The Fed has no transparency, which is what Paul calls for... and what the US public should demand.

I'm not arguing that. My post was in response to a Jew hating jamoke that claimed the Fed had NEVER been audited.

And in each of his many terms in congress, Paul has sponsored a Fed Transparency bill, AND an in depth Fed audit bill. They are 2 different bills. I have no argument with either one of them, other than they've never passed.

I'm saying that the Ron Paul Freaks are intellectually incapable of understanding the absurdity of your "Ron Paul is constitutional" arguments! You pick and choose some dumb little issue, the scream about how it's not constitutional - while at the same time DOING hundreds of things that also are not constitutional and acting like they're fine.

Ron Paul is a hypocrite. YOU are a hypocrite. Unfortunately, I don't know that either of you are smart enough to understand the depth of your hypocrisy.

...and, in true Ron Paul Cultist fashion, you simply ignore facts and truth, twist and spin them, and continue to live in your own deluded little vacuum.

Fact #1: Abortion will NEVER become a state-only issue, not only because it's already a federal issue, but because every single state will have multiple cases tried before the federal supreme court. Thus, abortion will CONTINUE to be tried on a federal level. Period. Ron Paul's stance is nothing more than a cowards way of refusing to take a stand on a controversial topic. Ron Paul is a lying coward.

Fact #2: If states all have their own set of drug laws, there WILL be cross-border drug trafficking. It will be on a state level just as it is now on a federal level. Drugs will be illegally transported from "loose" states to "conservative" states, INCREASING the drug trade. In the end, cases will be tried at the federal supreme court level anyway. Ron Paul's stance on legalizing drugs as a state-to-state issue is STUPID and unworkable.

Fact #3: Where there is violence and instability, there is NO commerce. Were Ron Paul to get his way, and America to become an isolationist country once again, our current military overseas presence would be replaced by anarchy. And where there is anarchy, there is poverty. How ANYBODY could be so stupid that they cannot see that is beyond me. Ron Paul's foreign policy is correctly identified by older, more experienced and astute thinkers, is stupid an destructive.

I could go on, and on, and on, but you're not capable of listening and thinking anyway. 8)

Psssttt... He's been a federally elected official for nearly 20 years. Apparently you're, "he doesn't change his view for victory..." comment is actually a condemnation of the guy.
