You missed it by,,,,,,,That much! Conservatives want to decide what kind of coverage WE have. And we want you to be ABLE to decide what kind of coverage YOU have.

It is the loony liberal left that IS dictating what kind of coverage everyone MUST have.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.

In the same way folks can't be forced to abide by any religion, religious entities can't be forced to provide insurance coverage for anything that violates their beliefs. That's the real issue. If you don't like the terms and conditions of the job, seek employment elsewhere.

Oh, but it's NEVER about sex with the Right. Remember the Clinton impeachment and how it had nothing to do with sex? :-D

It had everything to do about lying under oath. I never faulted Bill for cheating on Hillary.

That makes me think of little nerdy, pimple-faced high school boys who can't compete with the jocks standing on the street watching the girls go by and commenting on each one - "Boy, that one is a real dog, isn't she?" I guess some of them grow up and some of them don't.

That's not even close to what I used to spend on dates so I could have sex. Crazy feminists want to have their cake and eat everybody else's cake too.

a religious entity is a church...not a non-profit corporation. they arent the same thing.

It takes years of training to "drink 'em pretty" and still stand up. Isn't that what college is for?

Maybe, just maybe you need to read her entire transcript, and not the edited and crap political pieces that some right wing pundits are putting out.

    http://www.whatthefolly.com/2012/02...o-contraception-and-reproductive-health-care/

She never mentions her own sex life, she does talk about costs, and how often contraceptives are used to treat actual medical conditions.

She also brings up the fact that due to confusion about how some health plans cover contraceptives that some women assume they won't cover anything in the event of rape.

There's a great deal of bullcrap being spread by the right wing about what this brave lady said to congress, and most of it is lies.

HOW is anything about any woman's contraception my business or my RESPONSIBILITY? If I'm not banging her or any other law students, I'm not involved in the use or the price of their contraceptives.

Just had a thought [surprise] Gays should protest this! Why should gays pay for contraceptives?:-D:-D

It started when free market health plans realized it was cheaper to provide contraceptives as a cost saving measure, because it's cheaper to prevent an unplanned pregnancy than it is to pay for the prenatal care, birth and subsequent after birth care as the child grows.

It's also logical to want to pay for contraceptives, and prevent unwanted pregnancies that can lead to more people on welfare.

I personally don't know why the right wing is complaining so blasted much about this. It saves tax payer dollars in the long run and should prevent some extra welfare recipients from being born.

She isn't asking you, or any other taxpayer, to pay for (*)(*)(*)(*). She's asking the private insurance company to offer contraceptives on the plan that she pays for.

Women shouldn't be in law school anyway. They belong in the home, having babies.
