10. The Romans conquered the known world and set up a One World Government. Liberals have similar plans today.

9. The Romans ran a massive welfare program that allowed millions of poor people to never work and go to the Colisseum all day and watch people and animals die. Liberals want more people to be on welfare and are endlessly working toward the day when no one has to work for a living.

8. The Roman Empire was run by a giant, unaccountable bureaucracy. That is liberals' favorite model of government.

7. Homosexuality was widely practiced in the Roman Empire. The Emperor Nero actually married a man.

6. Infanticide, the ancient equivalent to abortion, was widely practiced in the Roman Empire. Liberals love abortion and want as many babies aborted as possible.

5. Romans were known for wild orgies where people would have anonymous sex with strangers. Liberals thinks such behavior is quite laudable and wish everyone to engage in.

4. Pederasty was very common among the Romans. Liberal groups like NAMBLA believe we should legalize pederasty and the gays allow them to march in their parades.

3. The Romans persecuted the Christians and threw them to the lions. Liberals would like to do the same today, and would if they could get away with it. Fortunately, modern Christians are armed.

Exactly when and how did you obtain the ability to read minds?

Clearly you must have such an ability in order ot know what Liberals 'like'- I mean saying otherwise would be 'bearing false' witness, and that would just be a sin.

As a Roman Catholic, you should be a huge fan of the Roman Empire, which was arm in arm with the Church until the Roman Empire crumbled.

But let me tell everyone who actually is interested in history what I do like about the Roman Empire.

a) Law- the Roman codified law- Justinian law- the concept that a person is innocent until proven guilty.
b) Engineering- the Romans were master engineers- they developed road systems that are still usable 2,000 years later- and aquaducts to bring water to the cities.
c) Latin- the great mother of most of European languages. Even though English has far less Latin influence than say French or Spanish. The great lingua franca of the time- and the language which became the language of the Church.
d) Concrete- the Romans were either the inventors of concrete or as was so often the case with Rome- the ones to widely adapt it and improve it.
e) The adoption and spread of Christianity. Without the Roman Empire, Christianity would probably have never flourished. It was not until the adoption of Christianity by the Empire that Christianity really spread- and of course the Empire allowed that spread with its roads and of course Empire.

And of course in reality, the Roman Empire is the ancestor of essentially all of Western Europe, and source of the Roman Catholic Church.

I would start threads like

"Why Catholics are stupid" or "Why Every Conservative in the World is a Fascist" but those topics are just as stupid as your goal in this topic.

Such hate you have in your heart. Yours is more the Christianity of the Inquisition and Counter Reformation than that of Jesus, in my opinion.

I am no Christian, but I try to live my life by the simple rule of "Love thy Neighbor as thyself".

This way, while people spend time bickering back and forth, solutions are never found to those problems which plague society. This is why Republicans engage in these distractions.
