    I don't thing anyone is defending this guy, but let's be realistic here. Every day practically in the US and other parts of the world people snap and kill others. We have over a hundred thousand military personal under excruciating stress who are well trained with firearms and armed to the teeth 24 hours a day. It's amazing that things like this don't happen more often. It's horrible and this soldier is now a criminal and it's a shame for all of the families hurt by this, but it's extremely rare when looked at the sheer number of soldiers out there who are all armed and professional life takers

    I did back it up. I pointed to exactly which thread I was referring to, and even gave post numbers. One of the posts came from you, so it seems odd that you are having such a problem remembering.

    Even 'if' that man uses that excuse, off his rocker as you put it.

    It won't explain the barbarity of killing 9 children and then trying to cover it up by burning their bodies. That was an act of conscious intent and not random insanity.

    His own actions have shown he was aware of his actions.
