Have Americans always been so whiny?

Sadly, this is the same thought that went across many people's minds when they elected GWB for his 2nd term. I would suggest looking towards the Green Party or another party that is less corrupt and has a better stance on the issues. Voting for the better of two is what got us GWB... twice.

Great idea...problem is money rules everything (the Supreme court even said so). You have to pick the lesser of the two evils, and in EVERY case...republicans are ALWAYS the worst of the evil.

Funny....I thought he had an (R) next to his name in the elections he stole (I mean won) during all of that. I don't recall the right wing calling him anything other than Mr. President, and I definitely don't remember them being up in arms over anything he did that resembled being a liberal. I recall the right wing applauding every darn thing he did, and sitting on their hands throughout his tyranny.

 

Bush was a liberal Republican.

 

He was your party's best possible choice for President at the time....the one you guys presented. So then...would that be the GOP's fault for presenting the liberal, versus Bush himself?

The more technologically advanced we become, the bigger (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*) we become. People get lazy and weak when they have so much luxury at their disposal. The Founding Fathers would have mopped up the floor with the whiney sissies of today. They were men.

 

OMG you hit the nail on the head. I am so irritated by so many of the younger generation whining about everything. Do you remember that movie about that black guy who was living on the streets with his son then worked his ass off to get a job on wall street? We all need to be like Chris Gardner. To me, he is my everyday inspiration. He never stopped moving forward, never complained, and kept getting up when knocked down.

 

It is unfortunate that more often than not, black people being depicted in this manner are fictional characters.
