Pay your taxes, liberal plebs: Bono Faces Angry Protests After He Avoids Paying Taxes U2 is playing a long-awaited gig at this year's Glastonbury Music Festival and the crowd will be rather rowdy, but not for the right reasons. Art Uncut, a UK activist group, will be protesting Bono's decision to move his extremely lucrative music and publishing business away from Ireland which would allow them to avoid taxes on record sales. The move was viewed as a response to a cap on a lucrative tax-break for artists in the Republic of Ireland. Bono's performance at Glastonbury won't be interrupted, but Art Uncut have said that they will be "highly visible." They plan to hold up a large lit up sign that demands "Bono Pay Up" as well as distribute over-sized bundles of fake cash amongst the festival goers. A spokesman for Art Uncut told Britain's The Guardian: Bono claims to care about the developing world, but U2 greedily indulges in the very kind of tax avoidance which is crippling the poor nations of this world. We will be showing the very real impact of U2's tax avoidance on hospitals and schools in Ireland. That was a really poor Bono impersonator. Perhaps the Breitbart reporter had never seen U2 or Bono before? Looks like a fool was fooled....
It wouldn't be news if Jason hadn't done so much damage to the hypocritical leftwads over the last couple years. After all, it's not like he's the Vice President or anything.
