That's right Axelrod and CO are literally jumping for joy. They were worried about the waning black vote but now everything is going to be OK. Obama couldn't have invented a better scheme to 'reconnect' with his 'OJ jury'. http://www.politico.com/politico44/2012/03/obama-i-had-a-son-hed-look-like-trayvon-118439.html The only problem is the shooting happened too far away from election day. The 'OJ jury' has a somewhat 'limited' attention span. But it's better than nothing as Axelrod would say.
So we have a Latino shoot a black and it is somehow a political issue? I really don't see it, but I am sure it does not stop the ideologues.
I don't like the President weighing in on a matter that is still being investigated...or at least remains to be investigated. Besides not being impartial, he actually risks coming out on the wrong side of it if any newly revealed evidence shows that Martin did somehow attack Zimmerman.
I'm pretty sure the police have been scrambling for that kind of evidence for the past month, its a safe bet for Obama. The black community is outraged, this is all over the news, its a solid way to energize that base. Maybe its callous to say that, but i'm sure he's also upset by this story just like everyone else (well, except the conservatives of course).
Pandering to racial victimhood. The sum total of Obama's public and private (ACORN/Community organizing/Jeremiah Wright's church) life. disgusting.
