How should America respond to future terrorist attacks on its soil?

Another terrorist attack is bound to happen. Actually, strings of them are bound to happen. Where Islamic, not Christian, not Buddhust, but Islamic Terrorists will succeed in murdering a large number of Americans.

What should America's international reaction be?

Should we blame ourselves and just accept whatever civilian deaths come upon our heads as our fault?

What do we do when the head of the terrorist organization that plots and carries out the attack is hiding in an unfriendly nation?

Its hillarious because the only solution I ever hear to Islamic Jihadist terrorism is appeasement and giving them what they want, when they want and never dissent against their threats. Either that, or outright denail that Islamic Jihadist terrorism even exists at all.

 

Haven't you heard, we're all terrorists now.

 

The problem with terrorism on US soil, is the only way to know that their is a flaw in the system is if there is an actual terrorist attack. I love it when people say all this govt intervention doesn't prevent terrorist attacks. How do you know unless there is a terrorist attack? How does anyone know how many terrorist attacks are prevented by the Govt?

 

How do you know how many terrorist attacks are engineered by the government to implement draconian legislation?

 

What are the most important things on this earth to all faithful Muslims?

 

There is nothing on this earth important to faithful muslims. Getting into heaven is the most important thing and that requires complete and total submission to their heinous idea of God and all other Earthly concerns, including concepts like "murder" and "suicide" are irrelevant to that.

Well, you can always ask the Democrats. Here's their playbook with dealing with terrorists. I stole it from underneath their Che Guevera Pillows.

1) Don't give them any good reason to attack. That means, above all, don't offend them. If that fails, or they get offended for no reason whatsoever, proceed to step 2.

2) Apologize for inadvertently offending them. If that fails, proceed to step 3.

3) Defend ourselves from any impending attack. This includes, but is not limited to:
A) Do nothing about our border security.
B) Frisk little children and old grandmothers at airports
C) Dismantle our nukes
D) Defund our military.

If this fails and the terrorists commit an act of terrorism, proceed to step 4

4) Condemn the attacks, but dance around the corresponding religion with which the attacks were justified with. If stupid political opponents point it out for you, then proceed to step 5.

5) Apologize for your stupid political opponents. Assure the followers of the religion that we don't mean to insinuate that they are all a bunch of extremist whackjobs. At this point, proceed to step 6

6) Figure out a plan to deal with the perpetrators, without invading any country that they are receiving aid from, without harming any human shields they are hiding behind, and doing so in a way that abides by every cultural quirk that we might run into, such as teaching our soldiers never to sleep or (*)(*)(*)(*) while facing Mecca.

After this is accomplished, proceed to step 7.

7) Ask the U.N. for permission.

 

There is nothing on this Earth more important to faithful Christians than getting into heaven. Although we're not commanded to be violent.

If another terrorist attack, or strings of terrorist attacks happen maybe do like we did to the Japanese? Only it would probably be difficult to differentiate the non-religious and christian Arabs from the Muslims and there is no reason to interrogate and hold non-muslims in this case.

I don't forsee another terrorist attack on America. Sure there will be individuals trying to do terrorism on us- shoe bombers, underwear bombers etc... but I don't see another 9/11 happening.

 

Did you foresee the first 9/11? No, nobody did.

 

That makes as much sense as saying that next time Rightwing extremists attack us like in OK City, we should blow up the Statue of Liberty.

once it happened, it could never happen again... people on the planes will not allow it, the gov did not have to change anything, the people no longer allowed hijacking to occur, because before it was just a inconvenience, now it could mean death, passengers will always attack any hijacker now, notice no more successful hijackings sense 9-11

According to the Right, after 9/11 its not a terrorist attack unless either A. It was committed by a Muslim, or B. it kills thousands of people.

 

We could just mind our business and not have to worry about it at all.

 

But it most likely wouldn't be another planes into buildings attack. It could be anything! They pretty sly.....and could come up with any kind of scenario. It wouldn't have to be passengers on any kind of transportation. It could be something that will happen at the same time all over the country. Malls being bombed? Some amusement parks across the country? Nobody knows what could be planned....

 

for ANOTHER terrorist attack. The USA has embarked upon the pathway of self-destruction through excessive spending to protect "elites". The policy of borrowing foreign currency to protect "elites" or taxation or the middle class to protect elites needs to be questioned. Of course, USA troops stationed in particular countries in the Middle East since 1991 was directly cited as one of the drivers for "terrorism". Perhaps this policy should be questioned.

 

The USA should not worry about terrorist attacks.
They will happen but the more hype we give them the more power we give the terrorist themselves.

America should focus on America, no terrorist nation Israel/Iran/Iraq/Afghanistan/etc (Not saying the Govt of these nations are terrorists but terrorist within these nations) can reach American borders with bombs deadly enough too kill "mass" amounts of people. Yes any death is a tragedy but waging a war that we lose even more life "preventing" attacks is a waste.


America has its own problems within borders, a terrorist decides too car bomb in new york and kills 50-100 people its sad its a tragedy but what the hell are we going to do about it without loosing 1k+ people and still get defeated in the end because IT IS going to happen again.

 

How should America respond to future terrorist attacks on its soil? Simple...stop supporting murderous saudi regime and get out of the mid east all together. Same goes for Israel. Why are we there in the first place? Much of the continent of Africa is currently and in the past in more turmoil than the mideast has ever been. Maybe we should intervene over there as well?

If our founding fathers knew all the meddling we do across the globe not to mention all the other things we fought against they would start another revolution. Time to take this country back from the corporations, banks and other special interests.

Debt out of control. We can't protect our borders. The list goes on and on.
