In what may be one of the more unfortunate comparisons made in a while, a Santorum aide compared Rick to Christine O'Donnell. Favorably. In what appears to be an intentional statement.

    Really.

Now lest we forget, Ms. O'Donnell, perky and cute as she was, was pretty much bat (*)(*)(*)(*) insane and went on to lose the race for the senate. As more and more clips and excerpts of her came out, form the masturbation thing to the witch thing, people became a bit less enchanted, pun intended, with her.

So Mr. Yob, perhaps in the future you may want to avoid the political kiss of death when speaking of Santorum.

Speaking with reporters this morning, a Rick Santorum aide apparently compared the GOP presidential hopeful to Christine O’Donnell – his message: if O’Donnell could win a primary election in Delaware, so could Santorum.

John Yob was arguing that Santorum could, in fact, pick up some delegates in the Northeast, including in Delaware’s primary election, which is scheduled for April 24.

“I would point to the primary elections in 2010 in almost all of those states,” said Yob, according to (Delaware native) David Weigel at Slate. “Famously so, conservatives beat more moderate candidates. Ask Mike Castle whether a conservative or a moderate won in Delaware recently.”

O’Donnell, who has endorsed Mitt Romney, captured a stunning 6-point victory over Mike Castle in the 2010 GOP primary for now-Vice President Joe Biden’s old Senate seat. But O’Donnell went on to get trounced (16 points) by Chris Coons, making the comparison somewhat of a head-scratcher.

we know terrorist are radical Islam, not the Muslim population in general, there is a difference

same as I know santorum is a fanatical Christian, not the Christian population in general, there is a difference

we also know that separation of religion and state is good, satanrum doesn't seem to get that

Santorum is a nice guy. That's as far as it goes. There is quite literally no one to vote for.
