Imagine if the pagent barred black girls from competing!
How is being transgender any different?

Ayuh...there was no rule against trangenders...they are recognized by the medical community to be what they perceive themselves to be and brain structure confirms that...disallowing transgenders is discrimination based on outdated knowledge and social stigma....if roles were reversed and a transgender born as a woman with a male brain entered a male competition of any sort there would be no complaints from the men...Caster Semenya despite being a hermaphrodite is permitted to compete with women despite being half male because she feels she is female, to do otherwise is discriminatory...

Ah, apparently they don't or this guy wouldn't be suing for inclusion in the Miss Universe pageant there. Canadian officials cannot say he is "a real girl" and then deny him entry because he isn't a real girl.

They're going to have to get very specific on this one and I for one cannot wait for the lawyer's arguments.

Therapy or not she isn't a real woman, that's on top of the lying on the form.

Yes HE isn't a real woman at all. He is simply a male amputee that likes to dress up as a girl. To say he has mental issues is to say water is wet.

His insanity is bad enough. Then add to that the insanity of the medical "professionals" who agreed to amputate him in the morbid attempted-completion of his delusional world. Then add to that all the family or friends who colluded along the way by not confronting him directly about being insane and getting him real help. And the cherry on the top is those people who didn't want to upset the emperor in his "new clothes" insisting that society as a whole should not only buy into this trend-delusion but also promote it in marraige and beauty pageants and the like.. Where we literally all have to play pretend that this man is "a real girl" [but isn't when push comes to shove].

This kind of mass-insanity has to stop. It has to stop now. The lawsuit in Canada will delve deeply, very deeply into this insanity because there will be a FIERCE debate on both sides and neither will cave in easily. It will literally be 4th-stage delusion meets reality on a grand scale. Keep your eye on this one. It's going to be very interesting to watch Miss Canada Universe dissect just exactly how he can be "a real girl" while at the same time be "not a real girl"....lol...

Is someone really crazy if they believe they are a "woman who has won a national beauty contest" when that person HAS REALLY WON A BEAUTY CONTEST?

I wonder if the sanity we really should doubt is the sanity of the critic who says such a person is "insane" and is an indicator of the end of our society by "mass-insanity" !

Sure looks like he has got the "woman thing" DOWN.....

If it were up to me, she could compete. But I believe in the right to disqualify her because of this. (not that they should)

If you're not born with tits and a (*)(*)(*)(*), you're not a woman.

    It's really not rocket science.

Like I said, he is a male amputee. He's playing at being a slutty girl. In his past perhaps there was a sister that got "attention" from an adult he wanted? Something along those lines. At any rate, there's a mental issue behind it all.

Pity the health "professionals" skipped over that part and went straight to amputation. Or should I say "skimmed" over that part. They have to examine a patient for mental illness [why on earth would they suspect that?..lol..] before they amputate healthy vital organs to carry on with a collective delusional psychosis. As a technicality I suppose. But the people who cash in on sex change operations are probably just a little biased towards looking over the obvious in favor of "just helping these poor people realize who they were born to be"..

Cha-ching. That racket doesn't compel the rest of us to play along though..

I imagine some women could be jealous a bit? If someone wants wonderful "natural gifts", they get much better results to pay a plastic surgeon than pray to God.

    Ha, seriously.

I like the new avatar texmaster. Not from a "bigoted" standpoint, but because it represents a sane person's right to flaunt openly [come out of the closet..lol..] their rejection of insane behaviors trying to force the rest of the world to completely turn upside down in common sense ...to play along with a rather insidious version of The Emperor's New Clothes. How insidious? Ask the kids in California now required to celebrate the gay/pedophile/GLBT "hero" Harvey Milk. I'm surprised they didn't nominate Jerry Sandusky as a runner-up. If Jerry had "come out" gay, I wonder if his trial would've had different results. In California, I am not kidding when I say "yes". He probably would've had the charges dropped against him.

Wave your anti-insanity flag high my friend.
