Once again, you never here such words in the taped 911 call were the incident was just outside here window.
Zimmerman is slick but if you are talking about a dull knife.

Girlfriend states he says "Why are you following me?"
Zimmerman hears "Do you have a problem?"

Zimmerman then reaches for his cell phone (or gun). Trayvon then hits (or pushes him). Zimmerman then grabs him and attempts to keep him from getting away causing Trayvon to scream for help and try to get away.
After a minute (according to father's timeline) of being unable to pull Trayvon to the ground, Zimmerman displays his gun (father's statement) and shoots Trayvon.

Police show up, sees Trayvon's ID that indicates he is from out of the area and Zimmerman's is convinced he killed a thief. Police believe the story as Trayvon lacks a Sanford address and assume he was what Zimmerman says he was and release Zimmerman.
Being that the body couldn't be removed prior to the coroner and detectives process the scene, Zimmerman's story flies and he is released.
When the parents are finally informed, Sanford police find that Martin was not a criminal and was a guest in the community causing them to poop their pants as they didn't complete a proper investigation.
Zimmerman's dad, unable to accept his son as making a mistake and killing a person, hire a lawyer making it tougher to arrest his son.
He feels his son had good intention and isn't like the common criminal so he shouldn't spend life behind bars. He was just trying to help and people should spare his son.
Overall, its ok to make mistakes but when you harm or kill another person. You need to accept responsibility for your actions.
He is a murderer and even drunk drivers don't intend to hurt someone. That doesn't mean you get away with murder.

Martin had the right to defend and evade an armed stranger.
Zimmerman had no right to detain or subdue him at all.
As Zimmerman was in no danger of dying and had no significant bodily harm, his duty was to allow Martin to retreat.

Hopefully he has his day in court, if you look at the video. You will notice the lack of tug wrinkles or disarray to Zimmerman cloths.

The bad part is that his hands were never processed for fibers.

His version.... strange, no one knows his version... Has Zimmerman given his version publicly. Of course not, because either he would have to lie or it would not hold up to scrutiney.

You have his judge father working all the levers of the legal system, claiming that things were said that no witness heard. Claiming outright lies, like his son did not follow Martin. So the father is already known to tell false statements. To believe a word this man says not is foolish.

Let a jury decide if he is guilty, that is all that is being asked. Present the evidence in public to a jury. But all we have right now is a judge whose kid seems to be getting protection in a case that is highly dubious.

This is the stupidest thing I think I have ever read in 8 years on politicalforum. So you claim that anyone that is ever hit or pushed, no matter what they did before that to provoke being hit or pushed has a right to shoot to death the other person.

It would be interesting if Zimmerman were to make a forensic recording of himself screaming "Help!" It might be possible to determine if that is him screaming on the 911 tape or Martin.

Clearly the person screaming on the 911 tape is in fear for his life.

I think it’s odd that someone with a gun would be screaming like that for help while in the act of pulling a gun

Oh really? Seems like we are being FORCED to belive that Zimmerman picked off Trayvon at 40 paces, completely out of any danger WHATSOEVER..and now that it seems Trayvon put his hands on Zimmerman first..suddenly the self defense claim is gathering more attention, and you whine about "Stupidest thing i ever heard" mantra. And yes genius..if someone puts there hands on you and shoves you. you have every right to pull out a gun and defend yourself. What did you expect? Zimmerman to pull out a rainbow and hit that black thug with it?

Having knowledge of - and fully understanding - the sequence of events is critical before you can find anything like this odd.

If Zimmerman was popped in the nose, and then mounted and started to get his head banged, he could have begun screaming at the moment he found himself stunned, on his back, and getting concussed.

His screaming could also have been heightened by his reach for his gun coupled with Martin's simultaneous recognition of Zimmerman's possession of the gun, and their mutual struggle for control of it.

Such a scenario would certainly legitimize screaming. If someone had responded, perhaps Zimmerman would not have experienced the situation where Martin ended up shot.
