I received an infraction that I believe was wrongfully given, and I would like to know if there is a way at all to contest it.

well , yeah , you can try , but it's up to the Mod that whacked you ... you can send the Mod a pm explaining yourself , but most times , when you get whacked , you prolly had it coming , so my advice , just consider it a learning experience and in the future , make better posts ... you can whack the message , but don't whack the messenger , that's hard to do , I know , I been whacked by a Mod a few times myself , so don't let it get you down , just really read the pf tos , and try and make better posts .

However , you can appeal an infraction , but you won't get anywhere , you won't find a Mod that will whack another Mod , it just won't happen ... at least , it never has so far , lol , so just suk it up and go on to better threads , if they's somebody that really rubs you the wrong way , then just put them on your 'ignore list' for a few days , I've had similar experiences , and that's what I did ... most times , they'll wind up being banned anyway , so don't let it get to you ....

That's what I want to know... How..?

The mod in question claims that I did something that I clearly did not do. It's pretty clear cut. If I had actually done it, I wouldn't bother to contest the infraction... I'm not exactly an angel.

Was it a point infraction or warning. Warnings have no point loss and cannot be overturned.

    Two options:

    1. PM the Mod who gave you the infraction and ask for an appeal.
    2. Go to the Suggestion Box (assuming it still exists) and ask for an appeal.

I think it was just a warning. I got warned for something by the same mod about a year ago... Forget what it was. If I remember right, it was a pretty heated discussion, and I wasn't being very *echem* "cordial"... lol

But this time I really didn't do what he said I did... And that other one expired ages ago.

But meh... whatever... I guess I will just move on... I wasn't really looking to make a big deal out of it, but it kind of sticks in your craw to get a warning for something you didn't even do...

Yes, you cannot contest a warning - but warnings don't count against you.

Right on... no worries I guess... Thanks =)

It was under the infraction list, which is what confused me.

Look under the points if there is a point then it is an infraction, if no points are listed it is a warning. Don't ask me how I know all this because I am an angel...LOL
