On your case, yes from the article it portrays a strong case for what should be classified a "Hate Crime", but since neither the State or Federal authorities will charge that, something really smells, DoJ (Holder) is not noted for being soft on whites. Since Brewster has faced a previous battery charge with the victim, it may be racial bias would be hard to prove, when in fact they had a previous "social relationship"...

It may well be, that those other than Black* that did rape Black Women, were either acquitted of charges or convicted on more serious felonies. What to me is worrisome, is that ---8--- times the number of interracial violent crimes were committed by Blacks on other than Black's and Black's represent only 1/5th the population.

*In fairness; I've not researched these type of reports in years, but years ago Hispanics were classified either Black or White.

I don't expect it to fade this side of a dark age -- all of us are culturally being programmed to think of ourselves as [ethnic]-Americans rather than just plain Americans. we're much more likely to think about getting equal (ok special) rights for ourselves and in stoking the feelings of victimization that exist. There is a lot of fear of Blacks, but it's Blacks of a certain age....say age 12 to age 40.
It's the elephant in the room. It's there, everyone knows it, but it's too un-PC to talk about it. We're supposed to empathize with the plight of the Black Man.

When did we become a nation of scaredy-cats afraid to speak out against the dregs among us? Respectable Black citizens are menaced by these hoodlums too.

Time to step up and expect the Black community to at least start speaking out against the endemic bad behavior. The Black churches have got to work harder in the community to mentor these whole families, kids, parent(s), and all. Where is the Black church when baby mommas are screaming for public assistance for their 8, 10, 12, 15 kids???

 

I have read your opening and it seems more about racial tension than it is about race war. A white in the wrong place and the wrong time is certainly in danger, but a black in the wrong place and time is too. There is fear on both sides. I hope the times it turns violent are few.

I and my wife have been treated unfairly at times based on racial preferences but I do not live my life obsessing on this or fearing that it is normal.

I prefer to treat everyone equally based on my individual experiences with them. I am cautious if I sense danger in a situation and I do not second guess my instincts based on racial guilt. I will protect my children from any threat without hesitation.

When we expect the worst from someone based on their race they will often act exactly as we expect them to.

It is surprising though how often a smile and a casual attitude will melt away tension.

The disproportionately anti-social and criminal behavior of blacks as a race is related in large part to the war on "vices" like drugs and prostitution. Those government policies are immoral and serve to violently marginalize the poorest and least educated communities. The American criminal "justice" system is totally stacked against poor people. These factors serve to degrade the black family unit. As long as there is a war on drugs and prostitution, poor people will be at a severe disadvantage in life.

 

I think most white folks are just tired of dealing with black folks and try to self-segregate to the best extent they can......there's simply no reasoning with them.....if you hang around them long enough someone is gonna get hurt or killed....I guess all the white folks will end up back to back in Kansas at some point trying to get away from the crime and BS that black people bring into their lives....the U.S. will become like South Africa eventually....sad.

 

Things were really bad in the 1980's. At one point, more than 50% of the prisoners in the USA were Black. Racial tension, violence, and looting errupted in several large cities. Race relations have improved much since that peak. Liberals are always pointing to graphs showing that violence has decreased since the 1980's, but what does that really show? The 1980's was the high point in racial tension, in large part fueled by high black unemployment. Things might be "better" now by comparison, but that still does not mean things are good. Sadly, I think the USA might be headed back in that direction, with Black unemployment on the rise again. The link between unemployment and race-related crime has been so far masked during the recession by the so-called "Obama effect"- basically Blacks see that a Black president has been elected and are hopeful for the future. But how long that new hope is going to last is anyone's guess. The Obama effect is likely going to start wearing off in a few years.

Blacks have been displaced from jobs by the rapidly growing hispanic population. All those low-cost hispanic maids and gardeners that upper-middle class whites found so convenient is actually going to come with a future price tag— black crime. We just have not seen the effects manifest themselves yet.
