    A. Between consenting adults would be two consenting adults. More would be among consenting adults.

    B. I totally support a persons right to concurrent spouses providing the laws for support, maintenance, and child support all stay the same or are modified to protect all the children.

    Oh, Oh.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you are not the English Nazi and that your correction was meant well.
But be it between them, betwixt them, among them, or even in their midst, if I am not one of them it is none of my business.

    Mixed feelings here.

I'd rather not interfere with what adults do. That crashes into the real world, where polygamy has tradionally -- and still is, in places like the FLDS cult -- used by old men to justify selling their daughters to each other. And since most polygamist men can't support that many people, they usually suck massive amounts of welfare.

As far as the egalitarian poly groups I've seen, the word "train wreck" tends to define them. Yes, much worse than standard marriage. In standard marriage, people usually don't forget to feed the kids because they're too fixated on the nonstop "who do I screw tonight?" games. That was the worst one, where child services had to send the kids to live with grandma, but all of such groups I've seen tend towards the nonstop drama.

(I realize I'm probably unjustly biased there. Non-dysfunctional poly groups wouldn't draw my attention, so I wouldn't know they exist.)

good things happen and bad things happen...but having a law there won't change that. dysfunction will exist regardless of how many collectivist-motivated preventative measures are in place. seriously, when it comes to personal freedoms, when have laws actually accomplished their goal? are drugs being used? are men and women still having multiple children with separate partners, while gay people flourish in excitement?

the christian model for society and family is a phony attempt to control human nature. it's time to separate ourselves from dreamland and acknowledge ourselves for what we are.

In the Bible, Abraham had a wife Sarah, and a mistress Hagar.

Sarah is the mother of Jacob(Israelites), Hagar is the mother Ishmael(Muslims).

    GOD didn't frown upon that.

Good point. God didn't have much concern for the 'one man' and 'one woman' rule.

Exactly why religion should have no control of individuals and or marriage, unless the individuals submit to such insanity. Then they get what they deserve.

The words of man, convoluted into the theory it is God’s word. I always picture people who actually believe they are doing God’s work, from the beginning of the written religions, to the inquisition to the suicide pacts of the 20th century and the political nut jobs of the 21st century, dying and meeting with God on that first face to face confrontation with the big guy up stairs, and God saying, “They said I said “WHAT!”
