Hitler was a intellectual loser who led his country to ruin, was responsible for the deaths of millions of Germans and other Europeans and then cowardly committed suicide to avoid facing being held responsible.

Yet today he's resurrected whenever the Left wants to demonize a conservative politician.

 

That is a common idiocy of The Left today. They want to see everything as "good" and "evil", and if somebody is not on their side, they must be on the side of "evil".

This is why I reject all forms of extremist philosophy. And to be honest, the Far Left generally scares me more then the Far Right does. The Far Wight Whackos generally follow a belief that is so far removed from mainstream that most of even those on the Right reject it. That of the Far Left however is often seductive in it's appeal to those that simply want the Government to take care of all of their problems, like a giant parent.

Ron Paul. David Duke. Ross Perot. Yea, they get some support from the far out nutcases, but the vast majority of Conservatives just wish they would go away because they are an embarasment. They get some to support them during a campaign, because they often say nice things that attract some to their "message". And quite a few then look back 10 years later and wonder what they were ever thinking at the time.

My dad was a Perot supporter in 1992. Now 20 years later he wonders how he ever could have fallen for such nonsense.

 

Duke's a racist nutbag and that has nothing to do with conservatism. I'm not sure how to label Perot except snarky and thinks that he knows it all, which clearly he doesn't. With regards to Paul, conservatives that I know have a lot of respect for his fiscal values, but he's socially liberal.

There are lots of them, I simply picked the most well known. And you can't deny that they are there, well known, and the majority of those on the Right think they are nutcases.

You can always find an extremist in any group. But Duke has no following. That's like claiming that the Unibomber is an example of a Leftist that your average Leftist considers to be a nutcase. Of course its true but since the Unibomber has no following it's effect on political realities is meaningless.

 

Ron Paul. He is more libertarian than Republican. His views do overlap with conservative views. He is for constitutionally-limited government. It is just that he does not seem to like the Constitution we have very much. I suppose he could be seen as far right.

David Duke. I remember DD. He is a former klansman. I went to his website. He is anti-Israel. He is a bit hard to tell. His website is all over the map. It looks like he is trying to appeal to anybody who is anti-anything. I don't think this example is worth pursuing.

Ross Perot. R. Perot claims to be an Independent. He is worth a couple of billion dollars. Smart guy. But he is not far right.

 

I am not saying any of these individuals really is. And I am not sure how far back you remember these guys, but over various periods of time each of them has been pulls out and used by "Liberals" as examples of "Far-Right Insanity".

I remember before he ran for President, when Ross Perot was making headlines sponsoring mercenaries to go into Vietnam to try and rescue POWs. He was clearly identified back then with Far-Right.

And we are not talking about their actual identity, or their actual politics. If any one of them tries to run as Republican, or tries to court Republican votes, they are automatically "Right Wing". Because this is not about reality, but perception. Heck, even the most wishy-washy RINO in the eyes of Progressives often turns into a "Radical Republican".

 

In his latest effort for public office (US Congressman from Louisianna), he got over 28,000 votes, I would hardly call that "no following". And over the last decade, he has increasingly taken up the reins as the unofficial leader of various white nationalist movements. And he still continues to try to cause (*)(*)(*)(*)e, like his silly claims that the "Tea Party" has asked him to run for President.

 

True and on top of that you have to remember Germany thought that their armies were so superior that they didn't really start new weapons research until 1943 when things started turning south. Remember they had a funcational jet in 1938 but failed to research and instead stayed with BF-109s which became outdated by 1942. The only thing that Germany deeply researched through the war was tanks.
Furthermore, another cause of Germans lack of research into the atomic bomb was that close to the end German started researching all sorts of weapons, such as the air cannon and sonic cannon. Which meant less money and time went into the research of the atomic bomb.
Basically, Germany was destined to failure at the start of 1940.

 

Since each Congressman represents about 705,000 people, and say that 1/2 those folks are voters he got about 8%. That jives with my general theory that in any group, about 10% are completely clueless. That's not a following.

Hitler is what you see is what you get. Goto the videos of his speeches and acurtual film clips and that is who he is, not all the off collar comments that all the jews, masons, communists and other lowlife pincos have mentioned on this website.
