    Or is it?

I keep searching for a reset button, only to find warnings on the back of the system "do not open this machine." The stock market is fraudulent, the monetary system is fraudulent, the explanations for aggressive global military campaigns are fraudulent.

Everything is fraudulent and everything is a lie. This fraudulence is about to consume itself and we better be prepared to make it work for "We, The People" in the aftermath.

    Amen brother, Amen.

The solution is to chase the moneychangers from the temple.

Is the temple the Federal Reserve? 10-4

You know, America was set up with a socialist monetary system. I'm not sure why most democrats support or ignore the nontransparent collection of bankers controlling the foundation of the economy. They sure are voting against an audit of this enigma...hmmm.

If you are not willing to drastically cut back the power of government, the corruption probably is intractable.

You need a crisis of national conscience.

Ooops. That would be an oxymoron.

I'd say if you're not willing to reign in corporations, lobbyists, and the power of endless piles of cash, the corruption is beyond repair. When the system works for ALL classes, there stands a chance of it being resolved. When corporate profiteers control everything?? Corruption will only multiply exponentially.

I assume that your solution to stopping corporate profiteers from controlling everything is to pass more regulation and to institute an even bigger government, correct?

Unless you know of another way of reigning in corporate corruption as it exists today..We don't have nearly enough regulations. Nobody ever goes to jail for the crap that goes on in corporate crimes today. Instead, they're congratulated, given golden parachutes, and destroy other people's lives. Yeah...regulation has to occur from within the present system, and if it can't then it's time to scrap the corrupted, paid off, inherently infected system of organized crime.

Guess what? These corporations get their power from the government. They use lobbyists to control legislation and they love regulation! Regulation creates barriers to entry for the smaller guys, whilst the corporations that are already big and powerful can afford the new regulations while simultaneously profiting from the loss of competition. It's very simple; big business loves big government.

That post was a complete non sequitur and made absolutely no effort to address the points of my post, let's try this again:

    Power corrupts...

Government is all about the power of coercion.

Hence, absent angels to run government, government power tends to accumulate corruption.
