That was my longest most in depth contribution to this thread. None of you wished to discuss it. Instead you continual wish to bring up another topic and then claim I am "derailing." Why don't you take some personal responsibility and respond to what I posted five pages ago? No, you aren't going to do that. Seems to me that the religious organization (Catholic church) that provides the food has deep enough pockets to throw $1,000 her way to pay for a planning commission presentation for this lady and her good work. Just a thought.

Yes you figured two short lines I posted before even watching the video was more important than the in depth paragraph I posted after viewing... and that is somehow my problem.

 

It may be to protect her. What if the children were to get sick from E Coli or some other food poisoning? Perhaps one should find out all the ins & outs of the matter before going political on each other's asses....

Don't forget the democat app that locates each democraty voter in a neighborhood idetifying them by first name and last initial, gender and age. Isn't that interesting? We have a local university employee in our neighborhood, definitely an obama supporter and i wouldn't trust him as far as i could throw him. Talk about intolerant leftists, he's gotten physical with next door neighbors and threatened her dog and kids, he got snarky with my daughter and she took him down a peg or two. If anything happened and martial law ensued, THIS would be the guy who headed the neighborhood committee.

Reminds me. Fauquier county wine and farming area recently has had a tempest over a vinyard owner who invited a group of little girls to a birthday party and she cut up a pumpkin. She is being fined for unlicensed activity on HER FARM. You can use your search engine. If you keep searching you'll see that someone complained because of the inclusion of a certain little girl from a certain family. This is all being done in the name of local ordinances and permits.

 

Well the law is the law. If this city bureacrat didn't take action you know there would be some "concerned citizen" that would demand he be reprimanded or fired. At a certain point we have to realize the government particularly on a local level is us. While the citizens of one state can at times be powerless against the federal government local towns people can control their destiny. And more often than not they collectively decide through their petty selfish individual demands to have local government regulate the heck out of the town. Furthermore they aren't even satisfied by that. They create gated communities where they create even more regulations. If there is going to be a screed it should be against the individual. Nebulous charges against the "government" just give the selfish local people a free pass.
