Northern Mali. Al-Qaeda is currently in the process of carving out an enclave there but they haven't finished establishing themselves. A fairly small force with good air support and Mali government troops to pick up the pieces would solve this growing problem pretty quickly (and there is no nearby Pakistan to give the Islamo-fascists shelter either).

Attack, and cripple? Iran. Invade? None. Invasion and occupation is a losing proposition. And with the possible exception of Germany and South Korea, the US hasn't been proven to be very good at it. .
As a Texan I've gotten pretty good at occupying former Mexican territory. But seriously, poor people and Persians? Has the MIC run out of ideas?
Bad idea. What do they have down there that would enrich our nation? Not to mention, if we conquered Mexico, everyone in Mexico would become a US citizen, eligible for welfare and jobs. Don't we have enough Mexicans already? We'll still have an anchor baby problem. They'll just be coming up from Central and South America now.

Historically... That is actually not a bad idea. The economies of the countries the US invades tend to do very well a few years after the Americans leave. The Pentagon could set up an interim government and put the US on a path to democracy.
It's worse than that. By our definition 9 out of 10 Canadians are liberals - even most of their "conservatives" believe in universal health care and social security. And then there is Quebec - imagine several million Canadian liberals crossed with Frenchmen! The last thing we want to do is bring Canada into our possession. We own them anyway - let's keep them at arm's length.

By the anchor baby system, they drain more money out of our state and local treasuries than American citizens do. By remittances, they are pillaging us for $25 Billion/year (out of our economy, re-inserted into theirs). The list of the harms of their immigration here is a long one. We need to invade Mexico to stop them from continuing to invade us. Everyone in Mexico would not be a US citizen just because we conquer them and force them to meet our demands. We did that to Germany and Japan. All their citizens did not become US citizens. We just made them leave us alone, that's all. Mexico is a basket case. It is a country in disarray that badly needs to be brought under sensible control. Right now, we are the worst victims of Mexico's wildness. As long as we sit idle and let it happen we'll continue to have all THESE PROBLEMS : Harms of Immigration 1. Americans lose jobs. (especially Whites due to affirmative action). 2. Wage reduction. 3. Tax $ lost (due to off books work + lower wages paid). 4. Remittance $$$ lost. ($40 Billion year). 5. Tax $$ lost to immigrants on welfare. 6. Increased crime. 7. Increased traffic congestion. 8. Increased pollution. 9. Overcrowding in hospital ERs. 10. Overcrowding in recreational facilities. 11. Overcrowding in government offices. 12. Overcrowding in schools. 13. Decrease in funds available for entitlements. 14. Cultural erosion.
