The actions of Republicans are opposite to the teaching's of Jesus.

    Hence my phrase, "American Taliban".

If the taliban label can be applied to Republicans, what label is fitting for democrats?

    The liberal's version of Jesus:

"And Jesus turned the loafs and fish into EBT cards, now the whole crowd was able to buy beer and cigarettes."

"Give to Caesar what is Caesar's - and don't give God anything because he's just a fairy tale and only stupid Republican rednecks believe in him".

The use of force is opposite to the teaching's of Jesus, who taught to turn the other cheek in the face of evil.

Which actions? Most of them are in line with Jesus' teachings and practices. Whereas the left is openly opposed to Jesus and Christianity more often than not.

Based on your picture, you're asserting that Republicans declared that Jesus was in favor of the Iraq War - Jesus never said anything for or against war, and I'd love you to name any Republican who asserted that Jesus supported the Iraq War - you'd also have to ignore that the majority of Democrats in Congress were also in favor of the war.

As far as the Taliban, their actions are actually very in-line with a literal interpretation of the Koran, so claiming that Republicans are the Taliban for being out-of-line with Jesus' teachings makes no sense. But liberals are never interested in making sense, just making a sense-ation.

Well, but that Jesus meant it is alright to kill 140,000 foreign civilians in retaliation for 3,000.

When did he say it wasn't?

The total deaths, including enemy combatants is about 110,000, not "140,000 civilian deaths".

    Next.

They read it literally when it justifies denying people basic civil rights, and metaphorically when the texts are against war and obscene wealth.

He said God not Jesus. The God of the Bible did declare war on many occasions.

There are no religious texts in the Bible against war, there are many more examples of God declaring war.

God was never against "obscene wealth", simply greed. That would be like saying that there's no difference between "lust" and having sex with your own wife.

Jesus in specific upheld that King Solomon's wealth was a blessing from God, as stated also in the OT. So it was indeed possible to be wealthy and still be Godly.

Also, "wealth" is a relative term - based on the standards of living in Jesus' time - the average person earning $18,000 per year would be considered "obscenely" wealthy had they lived 2,000 years ago.

I am not going to prove a negative. Please, why did he say it was cool?

Or are you proposing that God/Jesus/Holy spirit is so evil and vile as to condone so such acts?

Nope. My figure excludes insurgents, a combination of Iraq and Afghanistan.

    I thought Jesus was God?

Is this another example of a Christian contradicting Christians in the interpretation of the Bible? LOL

Yes, WWII was so evil - even though it saved millions of lives which Hitler would have killed had he been allowed to remain in power, war is always evil just because "OMG! Civilians get killed" even if it's necessary to save millions of lives in the long run.

Your figure is wrong then. Likely from a far-left source with inflated numbers. My figure is from the Associated Press.

You're the one asserting that if civilians are killed in war that it's automatically "evil". To me that depends on the motive for the war, or whether or not the civilians were intentionally killed or were simply unintended collateral damage. No matter what the war is fought for, civilians will die and this is simply a reality, so unless you oppose war for any reason, then that argument holds no water.

So hypothetically, if the Allies had discovered Hitler and all the high-ranking Nazi leaders in a bunker, and could have dropped a single bomb on it and prevented the war and the Holocaust, though this would mean that the civilians in the bunker would be killed - would you support this, or would you decry it as "evil" because civilians would be killed, even if it saved millions of lives in long run?

Or if a robber was attacking your wife or loved ones and was going to kill them, and you had a gun to shoot him with, would you shoot him or would you consider it "evil" because you'd be taking a life?

Didn't Bush allude to him being on a mission from God during all the Iraq war hubbub?

He even let the "Crusades" word slip during a Press Conference when refering to sending troops into a Middle Eastern country.

Yeah, but he was pretty darn accurate as far as I am concerned. I have read the bible 4 times front to cover and studied it. I see very few Christians living the life Christ said a good Chistian should.
