What an abysmal debate performance by Romney. Its called a debate, not "agree with the President for 90 mins". Terrible. Will probably cost him the election.

It was pathetic, but not surprising. They're the same person.

I knew this debate would be an even bigger trainwreck than the first two.

The foreign policy debate is a joke. Both candidates will run pretty much the same policy. Obama adopted Bush's policy, Romney will continue the same.

Except that until this debate, PinkSlip could find no agreement on Obama's foreign policy. All of a sudden....."HE AGREES".
    FLIP.....FLOP.......FLIP.......FLOP.......FLIP......FLOP.......Like a friggin' clock!

Its very hard for a challenger to debate a sitting President on foreign policy. A Governor has no access to the experience or intelligence about what is going on in the world. All he can do is offer opinions on what he think is going on and how he would change it.

Unless your on the Senate Foreign Relations committee or a previous State department official its really not a topic that bodes well for someone not from that field. It would be like me trying to debate a seasoned geologist on volcanic activity in Yellowstone. I really only know what I can research, I don't have any field experience with it.

The POTUS doesn't really decide foreign policy. The ones holding their strings do and this debate was ample proof of that.

Your capability for profound political analysis astounds me.

48% of RV respondents said that Obama won, to 40% saying Romney won. That's a minor victory for Obama, but it's a bit more revealing when half said it didn't affect their vote, 24% said it made them more likely to vote for Obama, and 25% said it made them more likely to vote for Romney. So in reality, it was a minute Romney victory that you could more accurately call a tie. "Terrible. Will probably cost him the election." ... yeah, sure. go with it.

That's very true, but it's not something anyone is really going to cut him any slack for. But on the other hand, this is the debate that voters actually care least about. It's only those who are already sold on one candidate or another who are going to come flying out of the debate with inane rants and facebook posts.

Good points Troianii and iAwesome. This debate barely caused any changes in the polls.

Wishful thinking. Romney made some key distinctions that you likely missed. Romney did agree with some of Obama's policies, and disagreed on others. I think the big message that got across is that Romney would not go on apology tours to make the US look weak. He won't cold-shoulder Israel and tell them to give land back to the Palestinians. He'll project a level of strength that has been sorely lacking during Obama's Presidency.

I guess you thought Romney needed to disagree with Obama on every single point. That's not how debates usually function. Of course, why should we expect an honest approach in a thread with a dishonest title like this one?
