As I’ve said so many times before Twisted Mitt will never win against Obama. Without Ohio Twisted Mitt is finished. No one believes in my home state of Ohio that Mitt had any intension of bailing out Detroit. His article in USA Today was loud and clear: "Let Detroit Go Bankrupt" But Ohio is benefiting from Obama's successful rescue of the auto companies. Mitt will not get away with his fabrications in Ohio. He is done.

    In Michigan:
The results show Obama with a larger lead than recent polls and gaining momentum even as a Detroit News/WDIV-TV (Channel 4) poll released Wednesday showed a tighter race.
The new EPIC-MRA poll for the Free Press, WXYZ and several outstate television stations shows Obama leading Romney 48% to 42%, up from a 3-percentage point lead for the president just after the first debate, when Romney surged and Obama's support faded after his weak performance. A total of 10% of respondents said they were undecided or would vote for third-party candidates.

New CBS News/New York Times/Quinnipiac University polls released early on Wednesday show President Obama and Mitt Romney running neck-and-neck in Florida and Virginia, while Obama maintains his 5-point lead in Ohio, a state considered critical to both candidates

Not over, but looking better for the President.

If the only poll in OH Romney leads in is Rasmussen, he's in some trouble, if recent history is an indicator.

    I wouldn't take 50/50 on Romney. With a 2 to 1 payout, it's worth a look.

The best comprehensive analysis of the election is here:

Why should anyone care if we get a centrist life-long politician, or centrist life-long politician as the next president?

Like Obama can resist the powers of special interest that drive his party any better then Romney could big energy, and the social nazi's in his party.

    It's a charade!

You must be on the wrong thread.. This has nothing to do with your video. You must be desperate since your reply has nothing to do with this thread. People in Ohio only care about one issue and that is the fact that this state is recovering ahead of many others. Do you realize that Romney needs Ohio to win the election. Do you realize that even the Repblicans who are voting for Romney here in Ohio admit that Romney would never have saved Michican or Ohio. Without Ohio Romneys done. Get it, you lose.

He's right, and when Nate Silver talks I pay attention, but the idea that this dog and pony show hasn't been bought and paid for, with a pre-determined outcome that benefits the true power brokers either way, is comical to me.

Obama's climbing significantly in Wisconsin too. I believe Romney still leads in Virginia and Florida by a point or so.

Electorial vote speaking, not looking to good for the Mittster right now. Oh noes!

Wouldn't know it by looking at this board though huh?

And people wonder where my claim of disinformation shills dominating this board comes from.

I disagree. The parties aren't polar opposites, but neither are they the same, nor do they have the same influences. For example, consider that the atrocious Citizens United ruling was voted for by all 5 Republican appointees and voted against by all 4 Democratic appointees. Replace at least one of those Republican hacks with a Democratic nominee and the ruling could be revisited.

Then we have the real threat of turning Medicare into vouchercare, costing Americans $6500 more per year, along with denying health insurance to 30 million more Americans, greater tax cuts for the wealthy at the expense of the rest of us, etc.. Lots of issues but really for a different thread.

And this is why Romney has lost Ohio. Ohio is recovering better than most states and people in Ohio know that Romney/Republicans would have let the auto makers crumble. It's another great example of the difference between Dems and Republicans. Romney is paying the price of this in Ohio.

You've just admitted that Romney is done. Instead of debating the points I'm making you took the cowardly position of hurling an insult.

    Non-sense!

Obama has the power to unilaterally force disclosure of corporate campaign spending through the SEC.

Republicans didn't stop disclosure on the disclose act, its a mirage!

Obama still doesn't support banning all private money from campaigns, even though this is the only option after the supreme court ruling!

How could he when he is beholden to the same special interest's everyone else is?

Do you really believe that all these Universities are Obama's top campaign contributors out of civic duty?

No, he was bought and paid for to ensure no University education reform will be enacted that hurts their bottom line, just like he was bribed by the HC industry to ensure nothing was put into Obamacare that ensured any price integrity in the system, just that we all had to participate in it

    The game is rigged!

In what alternate universe if Rasmussen considered an accurate pollster?

    http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/president/oh/ohio_mccain_vs_obama-400.html#polls

    http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/other/2010_generic_congressional_vote-2171.html

Rasmussen doesn't really have to be accurate. They still maintain credibility among right-wing fanatics every election cycle.

Rasmussen was the MOST ACCURATE POLLSTER in 2004 and 2008. Meanwhile, you try to pretend that the "toy polls" in the OP are credible.

PS: McCain isn't running this year.

    Hilarious....

The poll in question has a +8 Democratic demographic and there is no way that is the make up of Ohio for this election. It appears when properly weighted the results will be +2 Romney by all indications.

And Nate Silver who called the Tea-party and Republican gains before anyone, in 2010?

Or how about the betting sites that favor Obama. You got a bet down with the odds favoring you if you are so sure?

Your poll is from 10/29 and the measly 2 % in Ohio for Romney is within the margin of error. Also at that point Romney was supposedly gaining momentum. Romney’s momentum is dead in the water. The new poll has Obama beating Romney by 5 points in 10/31. As I said before few in Ohio believe that Romney would have saved the auto companies which rescued Ohio’s economy as well. The Ohio economy keeps improving and now Obama has the momentum in Ohio. Romney has lost Ohio and the race is over. You know this yourself. Thats why you have to puff yourself up in large bold print. Like a blowfish that puffs itself up and is full of hot air.
