The reason why Israel decided to act now against Hamas is because Obama administration has given Israel the green light how many times have we heard during the election campaign both Obama and Romney but most of Obama openly and aggressively stated again and again that the USA will stand by Israel and the USA will always be an ally of Israel. That statement is a signal to Israel to wait after the election then they will go after Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran. We know by now by experience that Obama means what he said just like when he went after Bin ladin in Pakistan, set a time table for the withdrawal of US troops in Afghanistan, withdraw from Iraq and most of all increase drone attacks against Taliban and Al Qaeda.
