I think Ben was already dead, further supported by his withdrawal from the world as a possible leading spokesperson against American foreign policy. How hard was it for him to sneak some speeches out of his fortress? I don't even think the latest rare videos were actually him with a dyed beard seriously?

 

From coming to this forum, I just assume that republicans are permanently angry about something, and even if the world was perfect they would still need to stamp their feet and cry "foul."

it wouldn't really matter whether Rice was cleared or not, or whether the Libya incident was terrorism or mob violence - they would still be wanting to lay the blame on the democrats one way or another

Assuming there is someone on the Obama staff with the brains God gave a rubber duck, an admittedly risky proposition at best, he/she new within five minutes of the start of the real time viewing of the incident that this was a planned assault not a spontaneous demostration. Spontaneous demonstrations even in the Arab World are not generally supported by mortar fire and RPGs. So your choice is that they are gloriously incompetent or they lied through their teeth and worse left four Americans to be killed without doing much of anything at all to prevent it..
