Why is the liberal answer NEVER to wonder why people are crazy? Why don't you want to figure out the human issues going on here? Actually, I know the answer. You don't want to or you'd have to deal with the consequences of having a judgment free culture.

 

I own a lot of guns and really don't see the need for a AK-47, but it is not an assault weapon like the kind many military uses. It's a semi automatic, not a machine gun like weapon. Out side of the size of the bullet, it's no more an assault weapon than a semi 22 rifle.

 

It equalizer and a deterrent....ARE YOUR FING SERIOUS.......deterrent against what....I don't know even know why I am responding to this

 

I can tap the trigger on my AK-47 and unload the clip in a few seconds. I don't "need" most of my guns but they are fun to own.

 

Guns also protect people, and their very presence helps protect us against the disturbing future that a tyrannical government could seize power in the future and take away our rights. And let's not forget that guns can help protect us against other criminals with guns. School shooting sprees in America are especially deadly now because Liberal's have created "gun free school zones", preventing any of the teachers from having the means to defend their classes in these sorts of situations.

I do not think it's worth sacrificing more of our freedoms in a misguided attempt to try to prevent crimes and periodic localised tragedies.

The point is cars where made for driving while guns are made to kill...the failure to make that distinction in your mind and your post are disturbing.

Please define "military grade weapon" and explain what makes them so much deadlier than a "non-military grade weapon".

They are used for protection, and since bad guys get them, other people do not want to stand there with a water pistol. So,,once again,,it starts with the NUT!, that same nut will use a bomb or a knife.

You cannot put everyone in padded suits and rubber rooms. We have over 300 million people. Look at our drug laws. WHAT HAVE THEY STOPPED? Nothing. Everyone can get drugs. The same will be true when guns are banned.
