obama is going to betray environmentalists on shale oil and natural gas...fracking. It's the only way he can get lots of money in the short term. You environmentalists need to stop him cold in his tracks...no fracking...no natural gas/shale oil.

China is making money disposing of used american electronics that can't be discarded or dismantled here because of environmental concerns. It's the same reason shipbreakers are mostly located in India.

Trade is always going to make your nation a better place to live and work.

Free trade can and should be negotiated between nations. Not given away freely to anyone.

Once free trade is in place between two nations they will both be better off.

I would actually look for US makers to begin to close the gap. For years GM was spending large amounts of money on legacy costs, money Toyota was plowing into R&D. US makers are still at a labor cost disadvantage but the legacy costs should help GM anyway.

Solar Power along with all of Green Energy is a complete failure driving up the cost of everything and you think we can sustain an even higher cost of an already proven failed technology.

So? We'll eventually have a pristine environment. That's a good thing, right. Though having to eventually sneak into Mexico to find work may not be such a good thing. Of course, I exaggerate - I hope.

I'm not 100% sure the Left have a practical sense of balance. But, ya have to give them one thing - we don't need to wear respirators in the cities anymore and our rivers aren't catching on fire because of the other side of our lack of practical balance. Maybe their exists a rational, workable compromise between a future of sneaking into Mexico for work and wearing respirators and gawking at burning rivers.

"Maybe their exists a rational, workable compromise..."

    Taxcutter says:
But you can bet the farm that the EPA wants no part of of it.

Except that Japan all but blocked American manufactures out of selling cars in Japan, costing American auto companies billions. Go back and look at my previous post on Japan and auto sales there. Most American products were kept out of Japan while they had full access to ours.

Except it was not the left who began the EPA, it was Nixon, until then it was one river that caught fire, in a very Liberal town at that. So now Solar Panels are made in China, subverting environmental laws and because you do not see the pollution, you think its gone? Solar Panel manufacture produces more pollution, not less, you need more, tell us how producing the largest electrical generating plant that is producing less energy through Solar Produces less pollution, it does not. Further because the electrical output is not sufficient, states like California must import power from states like Wyoming, which produces power with coal.

You read the news, hear this on the radio, over and over, find it with a google search, have people of the government working for the government schools tell you this so you believe it.

Solar Power has failed, it is severely depleting our earth of resources at a faster rate and delivering no power to speak of, none.
