it wasn't i had to toss half of the tbone steak away, i ordered medium rare and it came bloody literally.

medium rare is not rare, it is suppose to have some pink spots but not the whole dang steak. it was a waste of 20 dollars but the chedder eggs were great. i couldn't down it i thought i would catch something contagious like e coli, being the whole thing was red.

i would have returned it but already brought it home by the time i noticed, this was the first time they ruined my order next time i'll have to check as soon as they give it to me at the local ihop

Good morning and welcome to a brand new day!

Rain moving into Big D... supposed to be a soaker for the next 2 days. 'Spring storm' they're calling it. Geesh, doesn't Mother Nature know it's January?

Hungry this morning... where's OT with breakfast??

    *stomach growls*

Who the fup complained about the font size?

It's so tiny on the Index page now, you need a microscope to see it. I feel singularly lucky I can read it, but pretty sure others will raise a recreation riot fairly soon about it...

    Oh morning btw {but it's 23:00)

    Funny of the day.

Okay, so I've had an auto in storage for the past 3 or so months. Today I decided I would exchange it with another that I've been driving for the past couple of weeks.

Everything went well, all mechanical in top condition, tires checked and pressurized correctly, electrical and gages all functioning perfectly... and so on.

Prior to storage, it was completely detailed, so no need for cleaning interior or exterior. All I needed to do was fill the tank with petrol, and I'd be all set. Well, that is when the fun began. As I was taking it for the fill-up, a little moth appeared from behind the dash panel. After numerous attempts to swat it toward an open window, it disappeared (apparently) beneath the seat. Although I was intent upon getting it out, I decided public safety (as well as my own), was more important. So, I attempted to ignore it, and continued to the station.

After trying for several minutes at the station to get it to fly out, I again relented and drove us (the moth and I, lol), home.

For the past 2 hours, I have been out witted by this little bastard. He/she darts from beneath to behind the seat, and then behind the dash.

I have finally given up for the night. But vow to be triumphant tomorrow, if it takes all day. hahaha

As tough as I am, my ass has been kicked by a tiny, but quick and witty little moth! :(

Aren't you afraid that moth will eat the upholstery in your auto?

    Good morning Daisy,

Yes. That was my first thought, considering the amount of time it is in storage. Fortunately the interior is leather, and I suppose it is more resistant than cloth. I did look at the flooring/carpet, but didn't see any signs.

I'm going to attempt once again to remove him today. If not, I'm not really sure what to do. If I can find moth repellant that doesn't have an offensive odor, I may try that. The last thing I want is the odor inside the auto.

I could have gotten it out last night, but was trying no to hurt it. Silly I suppose, but I rather not.

...today may be a different story. lol

Good morning, y'all! You're welcome Daise... although it's still raining cats & dogs here... so once it starts, expect a coupla days of it! Hard driving in this morning.... couldn't see the stripes on the road. It's like playing russian roulette sharing a 4 lane road when nobody can tell which lane they're in! :omg:

All's well, though... made it in without incident.

Ange, I don't think moths live very long. Your lil hostage is prob dead by now. He'll probably get vacuumed up next time you get the car washed... prob nothing to worry about. Mothra was just a (bad) movie.

Let's get 'er started, shall we? (Is it MLK day yet?)

Hi Smartie! And thanks for the words of encouragement. I suppose that is most likely.

Now I feel bad for tormenting the hell outta him/her, in what might be (have been) it's final hours. hahaha

Okay, so I'm reading that moths have a propensity to attack wool and/or wool byproducts (felt).

I've never had an issue with them personally, do they damage other fabrics as well?

I also see that there are a number of things that MAY repell them... eucalyptus, cloves, cinniman sticks, lavander....... all of which to me, could be worse than the moth.

Gawd! I just wish the little jackass was in Falena's car... then it would be funny!

Geez, what's going on around here? Next thing would be a canon to go after a moth? What has the poor lil thang ever done to you?
Two choices. You see it you either swat it or you name it. Problem solved.
