Doubt that will happen. I guess the GOP will just have to try and impeach him for something like, I dunno, getting a BJ?

Only if by "everyone" you mean a bunch of whiny far right-wing idealogues who want to take this country back to the 19th century.

It's the same old right-wing "paradox"...

"Loves America" - wants to secede.
"Believes that owning a gun is the only way to keep the federal government in check." - attempts to suppress voter turnout.
"Pro-lifer" - until they leave the vagina.
"Hates abortion" - runs a constant campaign to defund contraception and sex-education leading to an increase in unwanted pregnancies.

They must walk around with a constant headache considering all the cognitive dissonance they must be subjecting themselves to.

Those Republicans that Senator Graham aptly characterized as the "angry white guys"'s ongoing tantrum is a consequence of the American people electing the President twice.

When their efforts to delegitimate the People's Choice via their "birther" silliness only evoked laughter, they just reverted to incessant, vapid, generalized kvetching. The only comic relief they now provide around here is their Zimmerman fixation but, until he's their nominee in '16, that compensatory idolatry is irrelevant.

They realize their Bush made a mess of the country with his contrived trillion-dollar nation-building fiascos whilst slashing taxes on the wealthiest, and their Willard could offer no instantaneous solutions, either.

Their frustration with free elections and contempt for the democratic process now has them whining, "Just make him go away!"

Settle down and behave. Term limits dictates that he will in due course - just as demographics insure that you will.

No, it's only loser right-wingers who can't stand that American re-elected the negro who are now wishing for a coup d'etat.
Get over yourselves. You lost. Get your act together for 2016 and stop talking stupid (*)(*)(*)(*) if you don't want to get spanked again.

Remember your Orwell? "1984"....O'Brien clearly tells Winston Smith that he can be taught to believe things that are not true, even contradictory things, even contradictory to what the Party told him just weeks earlier. And convince him that HIS memory is at fault.

Big Rush and Mini-True: Fair and Balanced and Unafraid tell them that drone attacks are "good and protect our country" (under Dubya), they believe it. Same outlets tell them drone attacks are "dangerous and seek to destroy our freedoms" (under Obama), they believe it. They tell them they support "Getting Government off your back"....and then support Government-mandated vaginal probes for women, they see no contradiction. They tell them "Obama wants to cut Medicare...he's evil".....and then "Paul Ryan has a plan to cut Medicare...he's good", again they see no contradiction.

They tell them "Millions of people in this country don't even pay any income taxes" one minute.....and then "You are overtaxed" (to people who fall into the EITC category) the next? They nod and agree and cry gin-soaked tears (last paragraph of "1984").

And naturally, back on topic....when a President they hate wins re-election?.... to "save democracy" they want him ousted by force and the election results overturned.

Given the alternatives, I think he should stay in office, for the good of the country.

The American people just reelected him to a second term. I think we need to respect their vote no matter what others think about him.

43% and dropping. The gun grabbing/sequestration fear mongering appears to have backfired.

Why would he do that when the majority elected him twice?

Unfortunately it has become apparant to serious students of Political Philosophy that America has become a dysfunctional state....Washington is paralyzed, all of our bigger cities and many of our smaller ones are in the grip of street thugs killing blacks at a unprecedented rate and more American Soldiers comitt suicide than are killed by the enemy.

Meanwhile....back at the ranch............the good decent Americans...the ones that were able to make this country work for so long.....are now hunkered down in gated communities and out in the rural areas hoping for some miracle that will not come.

What will it take for the good guys to rise up and end the tyranny launched by misguided bleeding heart liberals and their (more racist flamebait edited out - knock it off!) ?

I suppose Senator Graham's "angry white guys" who are alienated from America could take the GOP standard bearer's advice and voluntarily self-deport, but I strongly suspect that there is no actual place for them to go.

    Thus, their frequent fantasy excursions.

Obama is a symptom of what America has been deliberately and conscously been doing to abuse itself for forty+ years now... for its own temporary comfort, sloth and largess.

What did you think would come of forty years of Socialist Aimed Trans-Generational Theft combined with Government Institutionalized Racial Discrimination and dumbed down public education?

Look at the White House, and you'll see the outcome!

Well? ... Just what part of inept, corrupt, Chicago-Style, Bureaucratic Thugs didn't you expect?

Chicago Corrupt Black Thug Run America is an Absolute Disaster, no doubt about it.

But we were heading toward an un-sustainable place for decades before we fell into the Ethnic National Socialist trap.

Who said anything about "Foot in Mouth", I suggest a new election. The vote of confidence has gone against the Maobama Marxist Progressive way of ideology.

And frankly his approval ratings deserve to fall for failing to provide adequate leadership on the budget.

But- but that poll still refutes the OP- and Congress's approval rating is still a small fraction of the Presidents.

The President and Congress have bothed failed in this issue- but frankly that is no reason to advocate a coup like the OP has.

What will it take for racists to finally be rejected by conservatives?

Advocating pissing on the Constitution, and making the U.S. a banana republic with a military junta is not "For the good of the Country"- its for the good of racist special interests.

This is the same fantasy espoused by liberals during the Bush years. So I ask yiou, if he or Bush would resign, to what end?

So we get Cheney or Biden in charge of the country. That equates to pretty much the same thing as we had. The point is that if you replace one failed figurehead all you are going to get is another it it's place. It happened when Clinton replaced Bush, it happened when Bush replaced Clinton. It happened when Obama replaced Bush and it will happen when
Obama is replaced. The fact is we are in a cycle of vicious incompetence in regards to leadership- both parties are offering nothing as a resolution..

When you first challenged me on this- I admitted I was using overblown rhetoric....but today I am starting to wonder.

    Here is what ElDiablo proposed:

The way this could actually work would be for the Joint Chiefs to declare a state of emergency and institute martial law....basically a coup d etat....after a brief period they could call for another election....hopefully by that time the Nation would have come to its senses.

I have seen several Conservatives comment since this post- criticizing Obama- and I have yet seen one criticize what is an open call to subvert the U.S. Constitution.

You didn't. None of you conservatives did.

If I were to suggest that we take away your guns, you would be up in arms- because it violates the Constitution.

But someone suggests a coup that violates the U.S. Constitution?

    crickets.

    We are in agreement.

The same could be asked of liberals. Fighting old democratic racist policies with new democratic racist policies is terribly stupid. Presuming X colored people need help to compete is fundamentally racist and belittling.
