Namecalling? Make no mistake, you'll know for sure when that happens. In the meantime I will refer to the racists and haters in general terms.

If you don't agree with my debating tactics then complain to somebody who cares. And really, do my debating tactics tell you that I'm sooooo superior. I think I am superior to racists and haters and apparently you are getting that feeling now as you have said as much.

you indirectly called us bigots and racist, and now haters. And especially about that last part, haters: That's the problem with people like you, you don't care about anyone actually says for as long as they mention race they have to be hatin' right? Point out the hate will you?

You don't have any debating tactics, that's the problem.

In the NBA, the vast majority of players are black.

The same is the case for their "D" league.

Its a pretty large sample size.

Either blacks (as a whole) are better than whites in basketball, or its one hell of a statistical abberation.

Perhaps they are just more drawn to that specific sport, in some specific nations? There are many white nations who have it as their number one sport. Lithuania for instance.

You could argue that blacks make better heavyweight boxers. Is that true though, or merely that they were more drawn to it?

In that game it so happens that tall players are better than short players. And most likely, blacks are growing taller than white players. That's a physical difference! Black players also have darker skin than white players!

Why is it that only the racists need to search for the distinctions between blacks and whites? Do decent people really care that black players have darker skin? I think decent people only really see 'players' and aren't really all that concerned bout colour.

If most people were concerned about colour then they wouldn't go to watch basketball games. But basketball games are even popular in the deep south where most people are racists and those white racists still like to watch basketball. Or even football where some of the best players are black! Go figure?

Ah so you are realising that there exist differences? Good, good, a step in the right direction.

You too are here and "debating" about race. Is race everything that matters to you? is skin colour all you care about? racist, racist, racist! what's up with the hate man?

No of course not. It's all a misunderstanding actually; We all agree that differences exist, no one really cares about those differences ether. It's just that some people don't like hearing they exist, hence why we repeat it because it's true, but then come people who think talking about it equals hating and on it goes.. You are fighting a straw man; nobody here really cares.

Sure. I can agree with that.

But again, it goes back to what I've mentioned in other threads.

The only reason black nationalism ever developed is because black people were being oppressed by segregation and by some lingering prejudices that came after integration.

Gay pride events occur as a statement against the prejudice homosexuals have experienced from mainstream society. That prejudice is considerably less now than it was a few decades ago, but as soon as gay marriage becomes a non-issue, the parades will likely diminish as well.

Funny how those that bleat on about 'diversity' want 'everyone to be the same'.

Funny how SW and I get called racists, for welcoming natural and evolutionary diversity!!!

    Madness imo.

Swedish guy, You're right, I don't like to hear about the differences because they have no importance to me. I would rather just look at a person as just another person, regardless of his colour or his cultural dress or any other distinction that makes him/her different from me.

While you on the other hand are obsessed with trying to point out that black people are different in some ways that you can identify by just looking at them. And you won't let it go even though you have no reason to keep harping on it. Why is that if it's not racism? And not racism of an unconscious sort like that expressed accidentally by those of your ilk but conscious and active racism with a mission. A mission to expressly point out the differences in people who don't look like you and have the same hair colour, skin colour, and appearance as you.

What's it all about anyway? Why are you spending so much time trying to prove some worthless point that will only serve a racist agenda?

The reason I spend so much time here on the subject is that I think it's worthwhile to try to get you to think of more important things. You pointing out racial differences is going to get you nowhere in life.

Nothing I do here is getting me anywhere in life, same as with any other forum user. We're all here because we think it's fun to debate.

again, I'm not saying that these differences are of any importance, just that they exist. We're in agreement here so what's the fuss about?

Racism.. For me, for that word to have any meaning it ought to mean some kind of hatred of people of different races (however they are defined) rather than just recognising that there exist differences between them, and since there's a difference one part ought to be superior otherwise they'd be equal, which they're not. And please, since you seem to know everything about me, what is my racist agenda? What is my goal? to spread hate and misery or what?

And the reason I'm here is to convince people that, contrary to what modern politically correct leftist will tell you, there does exist differences between 'races' and that it's nothing controversial.
