We, to they, amount to nothing more than the great unwashed....a mass of humanity to be controlled, manipulated, coerced, robbed, coddled, vilified, excused, engineered, and sated with bread and circuses as circumstances dictate.

A balking, non-compliant armed great unwashed presents opportunity for the depths they'll take their authoritarianism to be fully known, however.....so they'd rather avoid such a potentially messy and revealing encounter altogether....disarmament accomplishes such.

A well regulated militia requires some regulation.

The businesses are leaving New York.

Now law-abiding people will have to as well.

Just don't bring those New York liberal ideas with you. They are why New York is no longer acceptable.

I guess Cuomo could put spikes on the roads leading out of New York.

And then have the State Police charge each car $100,000 for new tires.

That might teach New York gun owners to not try and escape.

I agree, no pink or poke a dot ARs, no synthetic stocks on a bolt action when a finely crafted wood stock will do and no optics on a lever action rifle and my favorite, a scope on a pistol.

    Regulated by who?
The lot the militia was formed to repel?
    Makes no sense.

I suppose the founders should have answered that one.

The bourgeoisie can only oppress us if we allow it. Firearms helps a bit.

Are they afraid that people will use all 100 of their guns at once or something? How does owning more guns make them an more deadly?

Also this law seems like a direct attack against firearms collectors who are arguably the least dangerous firearm owners out there...

If I were to enact fire arm legislation, it would be they have to be registered and you have to have a safe to lock them up in. You would have to show you have a safe before you could ever buy the gun.

Why would you want a pistol to shoot 300 yards? Get yourself a nice rifle. I can't imagine what kind of drop or velocity you get that far out.

It must eat you up inside being from Arizona that there are unregistered guns roaming your streets that aren't locked up.

    Don't think I don't appreciate rifles also.
You do know single shot pistols can be chambered in any rifle cartridge you desire. Drop and velocity is not much of a problem.
