Mexico should be annexed and split into U.S. states. I'm sure Rubio and Paul will do what they can, given the fact that the barn door has been left wide open for so long now. They still insist on absolute border security as a precondition to any negotiating of illegals being put on a path to citizenship....not that many illegals will bother jumping through all the hoops set up as long as they get what they came here for: a green card that guarantees carte blanche to Uncle Scam's bag of free government goodies. It would simply be more prudent, and cheaper in the long run, to cut a check to every illegal willing to go back across the border and then seal off the door behind them.
There are some in the GOP that would vote for forms of amnesty, but mom and pop conservatives are firmly against amnesty. You can't say that about todays Dims.
