CNN: Boston Suspect Has Dark Skin

As a conservative this kind of makes me look at the benefits of public surveillance done right. This didn't take long at all and, assuming that whoever they caught actually did it, could bolster support for more it. Personally, I'm still straddling the fence on it; it can be an easy thing to take advantage of people's privacy after all.

 

If this dude's the suspect, he looks pretty light skinned to me...

Saw that on 4chan earlier today. If this is the person Boston police actually are talking to, then the "dark-skinned male" tag is sorta irrelevant. Must explain why that title was pulled from Boston local too.

I find your "jubilation" at the mere possibility (not supported by ANY facts, nor any reliable sources as yet though!) that among the cowards who planted those bombs thrtr MAY be someone with "dark skin!"

It wouldn't matter if the perpetrator(s) is/are White, Yellow, Brown, or Black. . .He (they) are cowards and deserve to rot in jail (at least!).

Wrong, Sadanie. Many PF libs have expressed a strong desire that this suspect be a white male conservative, and not a Muslim, or any of the other minority groups that belong to the left. MSNBC has said the same thing. Have you read the Salon article where they explicitly state "let's hope this is a white male"?

The only suspect that fits in with the left's politically correct paradigm is a white male. That's the only perpetrator they are hoping for.

 

Perhaps. But they can detain in certain Homeland Security cases for up to 7 days without arresting. And it is prudent to suspect that more than one entity was involved. It is good police work to NOT admit you have the first suspect in custody until you have the last one as well.

Point being, we do not know what they got. And we wouldn't know until they have decided to tell us..

 

This kind of stuff happens everyday in the Middle East:

I feel bad that this happened, but it's still nowhere near as bad as what other parts of the world have to go through.
