I must disagree with the premise of shooting a pregnant woman. The child in her womb did not force the mother to enter the country in a less than legal and acceptable manner, so why should it suffer?

the baby deserves NOTHING negative since it has NO fault or wrongdoing whatsoever. the thing is they are inside the mother. they suffer the same fate as the mother for the time being. and if the woman is invading theyres nothing that can really be done.

Incarcerated illegals should be deported. All other illegals should go home and apply to enter the country LEGALLY. No freebees to illegals or children of illegals.

 

Personally, I'm torn. There was a time when I'd have supported sniper towers, barbed wire, and land mines on the border, supplemented with mass deportations.

But now I think that a simple E-Verify system, forcing all employers to justify their hires, supplemented with heavy fines and suspension of business licenses for non-compliance, is the way to go. This cuts off the attraction(magnet) for illegal entry, and by nature and word of mouth, will serve to severely dampen any desire to cross into America illegally as it would be a waste of time, money and effort to do so.

Which brings me to those who came here as children and who know no other way of life than life here. IMO, Some form of amnesty or variance to the law should be made to accommodate them. I guess then that I somewhat support Obamas executive order on this front. Though I think it severely retarded without addressing the jobs magnet. I think he did it to gain hispanic votes. And I find that grossly immoral.

In general, I admire our southern peoples. The criminal element aside, I think that most of them are mature, law abiding(I'll close my eyes to the illegal entry aspect for now) and hard working for the most part. What ticks me off is their failure to learn our language and the efforts of many Americans to cater to them, absolving them of any necessity to speak our language and assimilate. This is utterly foolish as it effectively divides the nation from grace and understanding.

I'm a conservative. Ironically my liberal girlfriend wants all the illegals gone. So there ya go. I am torn in ways.

 

Bottom line. The spanish-speaking illegal alien is a total negative in our society. They cost
more than they produce. They bankrupt hospitals. They crowd our jails. They commit
horrendous crimes against our citizens. They flood our country with more low IQ types
via their very high birth rate. If someone wants to do a feature/benefit presentation

I remember watching 'Gangs of New York' and one of the gangs was the natives. This has been going on for a long time and will continue to go on forever. I am third generation American and am very thankful that my Great-grandfather was welcomed into this country almost one hundred years ago. There has to be some kind of way to simplify the system to remedy this problem. I would be in favor of granting citizenship in exchange of either military service or civil service (community service, etc.), Also, some forms of work programs that could be similar to a house arrest situation where one would work legally and pay for monitoring until citizenship is earned could be an option as well.

Allowing illegals to earn citizenship is basically not having a problem with them being here illegally. It's kind of like saying, I dont want you here but since you are, lets just go ahead and make you a citizen. There are rules in place for all nations on how to become a legal citizen. The US has their own and until those change than you must do like everyone else and take the proper steps. It may take years in some cases but whos fault is it that your land isin't good enough to live in? Now think about how you'r country is run. We should jail and deport all citizens. Actually we could transport them to Africa and drop them off.

At this rate, most of the immigrants will flee the USA and go south of the mexican boarder for work and a life. And the inteligent asians will go to the EU and other countries for more wealth.

I constantly hear the left talk about allowing illegal immigration on one hand and raising the minimum wage on the other. What gives? How can one support a higher minimum wage yet encourage illegal immigration? Do they not know that illegal immigration helps drive the wage down? meanwhile, Rome continues to burn

I say complete amnesty. We won't stay out of their countries, why should they have to stay out of ours? If the US would like to negotiate deportation of violent criminals as an exchange for them deporting our violent CIA and corporate criminals I'm sure that can be arranged.

 

Nothing, that is an option doing nothing against or for illegal immigrants. There are many options such as not providing birth certificates to children born in the US unless one parent is a citizen that could curb issues without that one cannot claim citizens benefits, and making it very hard to work on the books that combined could also impact immigration into the nation illegally. At the same time immigration legally should encourage benefits to the nation if your a poor immigrant and enlist in our armed forces and serve say twenty years or more I think that would be a good option or if your disabled while in combat before then you should fast track to a green card. And educated, wealthy or those with special merit (a persecuted Nobel Peace Prize winner) should have considerations as well. And we need a serious guest worker program for farm labor.

 

Eliminate their ability to get legitimate jobs with mandatory eVerify. Use the SSA and IRS databases to root out those using forged, stolen or underage kids social security numbers. Require eVarify for any and all government services. They will leave on their own.

 

It's more likely we'll end up with a thriving black market such as America hasn't seen since my Irish ancestors got off the boat. Maybe that's why I sympathize so much with immigrants. Many of my ancestors were mercilessly driven out of their own country by England. Today global policies such as unjust debt, sweatshops, resource theft, and murderous dictators installed whenever elected governments displease the powerful is driving immigrants out of their own countries.

Many of them come here. I say let them. If people don't like it maybe they should ask why countries with some of the richest resources in the world aren't being allowed to benefit their own people with the profits from those resources.

 

The Fourteenth Amendment grants birthright citizenship ONLY to the children of persons over whom the US has jurisdiction. The US does not have jurisdiction over illegal invading alien trash, their nations of origin do, ergo, there's no such thing as an anchor baby, and they aren't real US citizens.
