    I am.
You completely misrepresented what you wrote. We both know it, and it is completely uncharacteristic of you to defend that. I am completely puzzled by that.

Bruce, I did not contradict what I wrote. You may have interpreted something different than what I wrote.

I thought we had moved on from this.

Religious references aside ,I hear what you are saying ,particularly with the ME ME ME generations infatuation with reality TV,and 'lifestyle choice' of the the middle class and stupid.

And thats the rub its the middle class kids you describe ,the 'My mummy and daddy said I am 'special',working class kids are to busy struggling with unemployment and the growing poverty of their families .

yes, the middle class is in advanced stages of Decay and the vigilantee outbursts as with the Boston bombing incident, does not bide well for Democratic principles as the ME ME ME ,'special ' middle class goes nutty, with its inflated veiw of itself as being necessary !

Seriously disappointed in you. This is demonstrably untrue, and you can go back and look and you will see it in black and white.
Do you think people who hear God talking to them are nuts?

I certainly understand why you would want to, but you brought it up again. I'm simply responding. And I always will when you bring it up. Count on it.

So now you answer a question by just ignoring it and going off on a rant, making up things about me to suit your own purposes?

As for slamming Catholics, that is just weird. I married into a Catholic family

The one who is getting uncovered and exposed for what he is aint me..

I was kind of hoping you were better than this.

He can be. He can be really great.
He's kind of like a Jekyll and Hyde poster.
Or a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get.

    On a public forum.
If you want privacy, take it private, but if you openly try to defend that absurd post, expect to hear from me.

That's up to you. If you don't want me to post about it, don't bring it up like you were right.

Sounds good. I'll provide the posts and they can decide who is telling the truth.
You can maintain an embarrassed silence.

This should be pretty obvious. Atheism typically goes hand in hand with moral relativism. How do you expect people to behave morally when they can't even agree on what moral is? It's all just a matter of opinion now. So who is anyone to tell someone else that behaving uncivilly is wrong? Shut up and mind your own business. This is the world you wanted, right? Where we all let everyone decide for themselves what's right and wrong? No God to tell us what to do?

Paradise indeed. A Godless utopia of trash.

You goddists are the only ones deluded enough to thing there is a utopia somewhere.

There sure wont be any close approaches to one with people of your attitude about.

Would you care to identify a moral absolute or two for us "relativists"?

    - - - Updated - - -

Allowing for some definition of the word "nuts', yes, of course they are.
    Didnt you know?

America is supposed to be 'godless'.....As far as government goes....however, most citizens do believe in a Creator and that We The People are endowed by our Creator certain inalienable rights. Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. Those who wish to alter this really seek more centralized control over our lives. Atheism is a belief that is analogous to a religion. Those who wish to strike God/Creator from public view, lexicon or thought really seek to supplant that belief with their own particular belief/religion. Since Atheism is a religion/belief based on 'what we know so far' it is IMO particularly susceptible to interpretation by powerful human entities that may or may not have The People's best interest at heart.

Not really. We acknowledge that man is flawed by designed and thus has always been and will always be imperfect here in the world. Which is why we accept the imperfections of our systems in society and don't cry oppression when anything falls short of utopia. Unlike our opponents who are never satisfied because they want man to be an angel. Ironic, no?

You want an example of a moral absolute? Is that what you're asking? Okay, let's start with the basics. Rape is absolutely wrong. In every circumstance. Without exception. Yet according to moral relativism, this is only a subjective opinion and anyone who thinks otherwise is no less correct. Pretty sick, wouldn't you agree?
