We just had yet another 5 soldiers killed today in Afghanistan. What exactly is our goal now in Afghanistan?
To win the war on terror by fighting them there before we fight them here. How all those dirt farmers were going to get over here is beyond me, but you know, maybe they'd build a boat out of dead goats or something.
Is the war on terror only with people in Afghanistan or just inside those boundaries? If yes then we must kill all terrorists within the boundaries of Afghanistan?
check out the rural areas being recruited in high percentages http://www.patchworknation.org/content/where-the-armed-forces-are-getting-their-recruits
Aren't poor people in rural areas that have limited jobs more likely to join the military as a 'way out' of poverty?
very true but there dedication towards a nationalistic usa is also a main factor and the NWO knows this and wants them all brought back in body bags.
There's no shortage of poor people with zero job prospects in Democrat strongholds like Boston, NYC, Philly, Baltimore, DC, Cleveland, Detroit, Chicago, New Orleans, LA, Frisco, and Seattle, but they produce almost no recruits. Another issue about rural vs urban areas for recruits is that urban youth are often unfit for service. Poor physical condition, illiteracy, criminal record, drugs, STD are often disqualifiers that apply much less often the rural potential recruits. Back to the original question: "What is our goal in Afghanistan?" Now that OBL is fish food, that is a good question. Anybody here think Hussein Obama can elucidate an answer? Or is he too dumb?
For goodness sake. We are involved in a war where Americans are getting killed at a high rate! Surely people need to talk about it. To not have this war the big topic of conversation is a crying shame. It makes me embarrassed at the American public. Its utterly irresponsible.
Ah, yes, and we, of course, just take your conspiracy theories at your word. We're there to ensure that the country is stabilized and a friendly Democracy is in power before we leave. Really, if the point of this war was to kill off 'good stock', we've done a (*)(*)(*)(*) f***ing poor job. What is it now, 2,100 total U.S. deaths in Afghanistan? Something like 175/yr? Yeah, we're clearly just sending our soldiers over there to kill off 'good stock.' This is so much easier than Vietnam, WWI, WWII, and the Civil War.
