    Why bother to have laws?

    http://www.redstate.com/2013/06/05/lawless-aristocracy-for-a-dominated-people/

    quote:
“…Grassley proposed an amendment to immigration reform that would require amnesty-seeking illegals to hand over every name and Social Security number they had used to gain employment in the United States.”

“…would have authorized federal agencies to notify the rightful owners of stolen identities.”

“Grassley’s amendment went down to defeat on a party-line vote.”

“…Schumer (D-NY) explained that identity theft is perfectly normal and understandable behavior for those who cross the border illegally. It would be unfair to expect them to comply with any other American laws they find inconvenient, in addition to the one about not violating our border…”

“It’s one more scene from a nation that is both lawless and hyper-regulated.”

“The law has become one more commodity for socialists to re-distribute.”

“If you’ve got the right political connections, you don’t have to sweat the little stuff, like the laws against stealing citizenship, or even the identity of existing citizens.”

“…the government apparatus can also ignore the same laws that plague the rest of us.”

“In other words, they didn’t bother to keep the receipts. Try that excuse when the IRS audits you, and see how far you get.”

“Those in power don’t feel any compulsion to follow the rules, from the President making illegal recess appointments, to Administration officials dodging transparency laws with secret email addresses. “

    Taxcutter says:
More and more, the Hussein Obama junta sounds like the ancién regime of pre-Revolutionary France.

I would have voted no on that too. The Dems were just concerned that the GOP was trying to use entrapment. If the GOP was serious they would work with employers to get that information.

I did enjoy this quote from the article:
"Corners can be cut until the paperwork is a stack of octagons. (That one’s for you, Battlestar Galactica fans.) "

Schumer is a lying criminal, and should be removed from office by the cops.

On the show the papers and such were all octagon shaped, they mention why they did that in one of the DVDs.

Now I'm going to have to watch all 4 season again, for the third time :clapping:

But I can also hear exactly how Adama would have stated that quote.

Fine, I looked at your link.

"...Grassley proposed an amendment to immigration reform that would require amnesty-seeking illegals to hand over every name and Social Security number they had used to gain employment in the United States. "

Schumer correctly points out that this is a burdensome, punitive requirement that would tend to make impossible one of the real goals of reform, which is to end the illegal, irregular, "in the shadows" existence of huge numbers of immigrants. Recognizing this reality is not the same as saying lawbreaking is excusable, or saying that enforcing the law is unfair. Claiming that Schumer said that, as your source does, is dishonest. It is putting a critical opinion of Schumer's position into his mouth.

If they can legalize bribing politicians and transferring military hardware to terrorists then they can legalize anything.. Well almost anything.. Not those evil plants. And reporting a government crime. Can't do that either.

It's a stipulation they should and must comply with. Too many people have been abused by these criminals. If they cannot confess their criminal activity to start a new, then go home.

Why they are giving them the opportunity to make amends for their criminal ways/activities is idiotic anyway. All the government have to do is abide by and enforce the laws already on the books, remove illegal aliens access to government subsidies (welfare, food stamps, educational, and health care benefits, and add a few additional, more severe penalties for hiring them in the first place, this problem will fix itself. As soon as a few corporate elitists, major stockholders, country club dwellers, and little old ladies who wants to get a discount on her yard work start getting some extensive fines, and/or jail time, the exodus of vermin heading for the border the interstate highway systems will be backed up for days. A small price to pay for the purge that is necessary, and all that junk can be sold at state auctions to recoup some of the money tax payers have been doling out so corporate entities, and other criminal enterprises can boost their profits.

Hand tipped. You're motivated by hate in this matter.

It's not actually cost-effective to attempt to expel millions and millions, nor does it well reflect on persons like yourself to want to do so much harm to so many.

Hate feels good, I understand, but it's just the war emotion. We need to try to use better parts of our brains. Hate and war should both be made obsolete. And yes, I know it doesn't happen just by wishing, but we don't have to fight today, do we? Let's just put it off, and see about tomorrow tomorrow.

They're already voting in national elections.

Most places don't require a photo ID to register or to vote. Many illegals vote, I know first hand.

you forgot to mention how CITIZENS are being forced to abide by every jot and every last tittle of all the laws... and even THEN they are

    persona non grata...

but then... Jesus tell us that we would be hated by all......

that if they hated him they will hate us... who follow him

Actually, this lie has been destroyed on these boards in the recent past. It would cost less than all of the program costs of a year of illegal government teat sucking.

Lie? LIE? Saying that is to accuse me of being willfully dishonest and deceptive. You will apologize, Sirrah, or give me satisfaction.

I believe what I said; I am willing to be instructed if I am mistaken. But I will not be called a liar!

It costs, according to ICE, $12,500 to deport an illegal alien.

    https://www.google.com/search?q=ICE...fficial&client=firefox-a&channel=np&source=hp

The numbers of illegal aliens in this country is supposedly between 11 and 12 million. Total deportation cost would be between $137.5 and $150 billion dollars.

According to various sources, the various governments [federal, state and local] spent $116 billion in costs for the people here illegally. I'm off, on the one year number, by $20-34 billion.

    http://www.prnewswire.com/news-rele...on-a-year-drain-on-us-taxpayers-97879144.html

However, it is estimated that the long term cost for these illegal aliens will be $6.3 trillion over their life expectancy if legalized.

    http://www.nationalreview.com/corne...-cost-63-trillion-benefits-illegal-immigrants

Can we afford yet another $6.15 trillion on top of what we already have in national debt?
