This is an unscientific poll taken by an American dating site and American women understandably found British and Irish men attractive because of their cultural affinity to Britain from where their Puritan ancestors crossed the Atlantic. Travel dating website MissTravel polled 30,741 single American women asking which nationalities they found sexiest and Prince Harry's name was attached to British nationality in the poll.
This British man despairs that a news source such as CNN would claim this survey was putting science anywhere other than up it's own backside. The fact the mainstream media publish this kind of marketing trash as if it were news is bordering on the criminal.

Used to be so beautiful, then, starting in the mid-80's they all started having what I described as "shipwreck" hair (looking like survivors of a shipwreck, thrown up on some beach). Then, in the last ten years, it seems like a lot of them have just turned into fat, badly-dressed slobs.... A lot of them look like men (or, what passes for "men" today). Hey, I saw a woman wearing a dress a few days ago and I nearly ran my car into the curb because I felt the momentary confusion of, "What the hell is that?!" "Pretty is as pretty does", goes the old saying, and considering what a ****ed-up mess we've made out of the United States in the opening years of the 21st Century, no wonder nearly everything and everybody looks like hell....

yes you were. I was thinking more of how british women look in general. just do a quick google image search on 'british women' and you'll see. There's something distinct about them, they don't look like other white people nor do brits overall. Coupled with UK having most obesity in europe and ugly accents some englanders might have that makes for a really unattractive woman in my mind.

Yeah I too like my women the same way I like my coffee, hot and Colombian. Though there are attractive women everywhere. British women are way more attractive than their stereotype. I guess it depends on what you believe a stereotypical women of these nationalities to look like and what physical attributes are most important to you in a woman. Colombian women obviously have a stereotype of having epic curves and whether that is actually true or not a lot of men would consider that an important attribute.
