All the article really says is that President Obama received an Israeli award. Everything else in the OP was the political commentary that MM put on the event. My comment on the facts in the OP is that I do indeed believe that the government of Israel gave President Obama the award mentioned in the article. My initial post was a comment on all the interpretation spewed out by MM.

There isn't a SINGLE follow up interview with this mysterious Saqa. There isn't even a SINGLE followup story about what would be a heinous crime. I have REPEATEDLY discussed the rationale behind jewish expulsions and the many often desperate invitations to return. It doesn't take a rocket surgeon to figure it out, but it does require some knowledge of history. Maria Theresa only expelled the jews from Prague & Buda. She decided that discretion and cash were the better parts of valor and imposed a jew tax and increased toll taxes etc. Might wanna take a look at history before you use a quote that was in actuality an extortion threat.
