After this Zimmerman trial I will say subconsciously I am starting to understand what you guys are saying. I mean I am not as blatantly racist as some of you, but the media outrage making the case that blacks are being targeted is a little outrageous. They never once touch on the fact that the black community commits more crimes than any race in the country. Now, don't get me wrong, I still believe in socioeconomics and I don't necessarily "blame" the statistical difference on blacks themselves, but the media is definitely biased when it comes to this.

So I will say I am slightly leaning towards this belief, although I have had these feelings for years but conservatives just don't present it in an educated way. They present it in an overly racist way rather then a socioeconomic way. But I will agree that the media completely ignores the large amount of black crimes in this country and acts as if they are victims and abused constantly even though they commit the most crimes in the country.

 

What really irks me is when they go into the sob stories of how Black men are disenfranchised out of the workforce. Huh ? Last time I looked at the last 3 workplaces I worked in, as well as the state WorkForce office, there were many more Blacks working there than Whites, including well-paid managers, who unfairly (to Whites) jumped ahead of the Whites by affirmative action. THERE is the "socioeconomics".

 

Nah, I don't believe any of that.

 

The number of Blacks working in these place is FACT, not opinion. And I can even give you the names and locations of these places, and you can go see for yourself.

you may call it an isolated incident but it doesn't matter how much money black folks have, they still commit more crime than poor white folks.


matter of fact, there's a county outside of DC known as being the only "rich black county" in america. It's full of rich black folks who have high paying government jobs in DC, and the crime rate is higher than any poor white county in the country.

Sorry, if four white teens did that to a black man and were immediately arrested, the media would still stir up outrage because of the racial factor.

Besides, GZ was not released because he was Hispanic. He was released because TM beat him and he defended himself.

I applaud you for your genuineness here but I need to correct you on one thing. The statment "They never once touch on the fact that the black community commits more crimes than any race in the country" and the last sentence where you say "even though they commit the most crimes in the country." This is incorrect. The issue is disproportionate crime related to population percentage. And that disproportion is substantial. A very important difference.

I agree with Don Glock that a spotlight needs to be put on this problem (Black crime, almost always directed at fellow blacks) but disagree with him as to how to solve it.
