I don't think the audience of The View cares about science. After a few months of McCarthy, they will actively hate it.

 

Yeah- great OP/Ed piece in Time Magazine about that. Jenny McCarthy is lovely and funny and a total nut when it comes to vaccination.

I wonder how many children will die due to her public campaign?

 

I think some have already. The old childhood diseases are making a comeback, and surprisingly, it seems to be in high income white areas.

"Hausfraus"? How charming of you to denigrate a whole group of individuals, as well as a blanket generalization of what this group watches and how they will react.

If you have a "hausfrau", hopefully, the individual will forget how to vacuum, dust, run the dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, stove and oven in short order.

In more stupid stupid stupid news, the senate passed a resolution declaring a week in october "Naturopathic medicine week". This is incredibly dumb, as most of what naturopathy is made up of is essentially a big fat duck and (*)(*)(*)(*) sandwich. It's like having "Picking your nose medicine week" or "drinking horse vomit medicine week", although those two would be considerably less offensive, because nobody would buy into that crap.
